   ABC broadcast edits out Michelle Obama claim that Chicago teen was killed by an ‘automatic weapon’

   In an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts aired this morning, First Lady Michelle Obama recalled the tragic death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was shot and killed in Chicago after performing during the President’s Inauguration celebration in Washington D.C.

   “She was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” the First Lady explained. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

   Chicago police reported, however, that Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car” according to the Associated Press.

    Today for example, O’Reilly vs. ED. 32% of Bill’s audience is 35-64 while 47% of Ed’s audience is 35-64, so someone needs to relax about the age of Fox viewers. Doesn’t truth matter anymore?

    Betty–what an absurd comment. the amount of money someone earns has nothing to do with anything–it’s what they do that’s important. Al Capone “earned” a lot, too. and so does Slimebaugh. La Pierre is a right wing extremist who gets blood money from gun mfrs and most of his memebership disagrees with him…and of course, most of the American people disagree with him…..

    usa8888, I listened to Rush today for around 30 minutes on a long ride back to LA, I heard him refer to his regular listeners as the “uninformed” several times. No joke! ” The Uninformed” I must say….for once….

    I agree with him!

    Republicans take note,

    Joe Scarborough lashed out at conservative “media culture” on Tuesday’s “Morning Joe,” telling viewers that Rush Limbaugh and Fox News have not been good for the Republican party.
    Scarborough urged Republicans to look beyond those two outlets. “Just for conservatives that think they have to stay in their own little media world, since Rush Limbaugh went on the air and became a national figure, Republicans have lost five out of the last six presidential elections in the popular vote,” he said. “Since Fox News went on the air in 1996, Republicans have lost four out of the five last —”
    “Please keep doing what you’re doing,” co-host Mika Brzezinski joked.
    “When Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon had to go up against a media culture that absolutely hated them… and there were no conservative outlets, they won 49 states,” Scarborough continued. He said that he turns to conservative outlets as well as mainstream media, but added, “for people who think they have to stay in the little box, I got bad news for you: it’s not working.”
    The MSNBC host has been a vocal critic of conservative media, who he once said are “destroying the Republican party everyday,” he said in December. Scarborough has also raged against conservative bloggers — or as he calls them, “the Cheetos brigade” — for calling him and others a RINO (“Republican in name only”).

    Well once again jeffie is delusional! Ellison started out being an a$$ without Hannity saying anything so that is NOT “destroying” someone! And watching it on MSNBC! That is the perfect place to get the real story! Can’t fix stupid!!

    Wayne LaPierre has always been a rock star for the insane gun lovers. Former President H.W. George 41 and General Norman Schwartkoff both resigned from the NRA due to LaPierre stupid as usual comments.

    Rat—and ibsles–I am still waiting for your list of right wing GOP accomplishments.. I’ll start you out:

    1) mastering obstruction tactics and strategies to job creation and economic growth
    2) successfully mounting a WAR ON WOMEN
    3) developing policies that are totally opposed by the majority of Americans
    4) voter suppression and gerrymandering excellence
    5) supporting the right wing extremist La Pierre whose policies are even opposed by 88% of NRA members.
    6) opposing birth control and supporting the Personhood Amendment
    7) supporting creationism and denying the efficacy of carbon dating

    Last Man Standing is the new Tim Allen show on ABC on Friday nights…liberals hate the show because he’s always poking fun at liberals…that’s probably why you haven’t heard of it…
