The album has since gone gold, making it the fastest-selling debut from an AMERICAN IDOL winner since Season Seven winner David Cook released his self-titled album in 2008. Phillips recently premiered the video for “Gone, Gone, Gone” and kicks off his headlining college tour in March.

I have been hearing a lot about Phillip Phillips lately. I believe he has some longevity in the music world. I am so impressed with American Idol. It is funny to watch the Grammies and see American Idol folks on the show and then you watch the Oscars and see American Idol folks on the show and heck while you are at it you see the lising of Dancing with the Stars with another American Idol person. Although not great, you have two American idol stars. I always see American Idol folks, but damn if I ever see a The Voice or X-Factor person. American Idol CLEARLY is the best of the best! The definitely have a well oiled machine!!!!

I’m sorry but I have never been a fan of Phillip Phillips. He is overrated and common.

This will be great promotion for the song. Congrats to Phillip.
