I’m telling you, CBS set Golden Boy up to fail. Planning on moving it to Friday by the second week before it even premiered basically gave off the Firefly Effect to a lot of people, I’ll bet. Why bother getting invested in a more character-driven series if it’ll be shipped to Friday and eventually axed?

CBS doesn’t need GB to be the next NCIS. They need a steady show to go on Fridays.
The only reason GB actually got a chance on a Tuesday is because they didn’t want another Made in Jersey by premiering on a dead Friday.
Also Vegas is so low, GB was actually an improvement..
Hart of Dixie is steady as a rock!
GO ON is a complete mess down a startling amount, and say what you want about TNN but it is completely lead-in dependent and only lost a point from Go On this week.

@Ross – For CBS Golden Boy is just a bridge for fridays until the end of the season. My guess is NCIS LA spinoff will anchor Tuesdays at 10 next season, CSI will move to CSI NY’s 9pm Friday slot and a new drama will air Wed at 10. Its going to air all 13 episodes then gets cancelled.
Also The Mindy Project is definitely getting renewed. Second place is pretty good and the show is getting better.
Happy for Hart of Dixie for staying steady. Wish Body of Proof could have increased though.
