If anyone still wonders why NBC has The Voice 2 cycles in a year. This is why.

  • KC Alex Smith

Tuesdays at 9pm are an embarrassment for NBC they could’ve easily taken care of this timeslot a long time ago, if they get rid of Smash they only have themselves to blame for killing it this season.

  • Craig

Is Smash gonna have The Voice as its lead in when it returns?

  • Charmed

    @Dan I was joking lol.

  • tim_m

Got the warning too in Firefox. I had to jump through hoops to get to the site.

  • Dan

@R – Its probably a little of both. The CW may not believe in Cult to much to give it the cushy VD lead in so they plopped it to replace Emily Owens with a less compatible HOD lead in. They probably wanted BATB to be consistent in its airig schedule. Personally I would have moved BATB to Tuesdays after EO ended and premiered Cult Thursdays at 9 but my guess is that BATB and Cult will still both be cancelled. Also if you have looked at CBS’s midseason replacements over the year not one of them has been mildly interesting or original. There was no standout factor but CBS knew that theyd rather just have a series air new episodes and be cancelled then to have repeats. Of CBS’s midseason dramas since 2006’s The Unit, only CMSB came close to being considered renewed but unfortunately CBS had a lot more higher rated dramas to consider.

@ CBSviewer……not a chance!, BOTH are getting cancelled!!

  • BigFlop

I got that Malware message as well :(

Talking about malware, Body of proof and TNN, lol

  • Drew

I hope BOP can pull more people in, I enjoy it, while I will be the first to admit it’s not the best, it’s the best choice for the timeslot in the current schedule, watched the premiere of “Golden Boy” …whewww what a stinker…

  • MichaelChickless

@Charmed “What is everyone talking about? 3 hours of NCIS? Another spinoff?”

  • Reven8ger

    TMD is still getting canceled.

  • Unicorn

I expected for Golden Boy to pull at least 2.1 for the start. But it only manage to gather 2.0 at the first halfhour (which is not that bad) and 1.6 at the second. I predict ~1.2 and lower on Friday.

Who’s that girl? Who’s that girl?

    It’s Mindy!

  • madbengalsfan85

“Am I the only one getting “Malware Ahead” message on my Google Chrome browser, when I am trying to access this website?”

Firefox gave me the same warning

  • Unicorn

NBC probably don’t want to repeat the same mistake by renewing a lowrated show for a second season and then get even more lower numbers. That’s what happened to Smash.
I’m really worried for TNN. So rooting for the second season. As others mentioned, it’s a lead-in dependent show. Perhaps NBC could try to pair it up with a better lead-in next year?

  • Dan

    @madbengalsfan85 – You’re not alone I got it too

@Unicorn – Well last season there only well performing new dramas were Smash and Grimm and Smash only did OK.

This season they have new series Chicago Fire & Revolution which have done well was well as dramas SVU, Parenthood, and Grimm. Deception, Smash, and Do No Harm have all flopped but good news is With those successful dramas, NBC can rebuild their schedule and launch new shows after The Voice.

I dont think out of any of NBC would hold any of their renewed dramas for midseason. Revolution would be the most likely but that would spell flop for the network.

  • JulieDawn

The malware warning was planted by Muirfield ( for the BATB fans) lol

  • Jason

I’ve seen the first 2 episodes of Cult and am genuinely enjoying it. Too bad it’s sitting in the oddest spot on the CW schedule. The show would compliment or work well with just about any other show that isn’t airing on Monday or Tuesday…

  • MichaelChickless

@Reven8ger “TMD is still getting canceled”

    The Mob Doctor?

  • Nick

Woah. What’s with ABC? Celebrity Wife Swap is soaring, The Taste tumbled, AND Body of Proof stayed steady with half the lead-in!!!! Gasp

BTW, Bill Gorman, Google (the website, not Chrome) is telling me “This site may harm your computer”. Just FYI.
