Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    second, oh well.

golden boy will drop next week.

the taste is really starting to grow on me (despite malarkey, what a joke). i hope its numbers are ok enough for another season. the production value has to be minimal. even if they run it through the summer, i’m down. i forget what its numbers were last week….

HOD will be fine, its not a top performer but its super stable.

nbc must be chomping at the bit for the voice to come back.

  • Ron

Horrible ratings all the way around.Cult has terrible ratings just like 90210 but mark my words carrie diaries will be given a second chance ,90210 will get final season and B&B and cult will be cancelled.Hod and Nikita will be renewed

  • Lifey

    “SMASH” is down in viewers.

  • Petar Ivanov

@Golden Boy couldn’t even manage to pull a 2.0? Hell yeah, one more season of The Good Wife!

I think Vegas csi ny and TGW fans will turns crazy today. But if TGW get one more final season will be on 10 pm in sunday or in friday. No way cbs to stay this mess in sundays.

  • BigBrotherFan

    @Petar

Yeah but THEO JAMES was really REALLY bad. He fell in and out of his accent and thats unacceptable if your headlining a show. I will throw Jason O’mara a bone because he’s not the star of VEGAS but there’s no excuse for Theo James. If you want to act American parts than take some proper vocal lessons.

  • Daw Johnson

    1.8 is not “okay.”

  • Frank

TNN will be adjusted down in the finals, maybe as low as 0.8.

  • RyanCanada

I Cant wait till Dancing with the stars premieres and then Body of proof with get that big boast, they are in the same boat as HE, struggling from a terrible lead in

  • BigBrotherFan

NBC be better off throwing in addional repeats of WHITNEY instead of THE NEW NORMAL..LOL

  • gerry

@ Petar – all i want is my good wife final season, i don’t care where they schedule it. i will follow.

good bye vegas, golden boy, csiny.

  • Tom

If Golden Boy stayed at a 1.8 on Fridays, it would air for years.

    It won’t stay at 1.8.

  • Win

    Hart of Dixie….
    keep ON KEEPING ON.

  • Billy

Golden Boy will be done quickly once it starts dropping as all new shows do. It will be a quick out on Fridays.

  • forg

So The Taste had better ratings at 8 PM, quite weird for it to see fall to 1.4 now that it has a stronger lead in. I bet that Wife Swap will fall under 2.0 next week. ABC always premiere strong (except for a select few like BOP last week) but then falls hard

  • Ethan

Ouch at golden boy…with that weak competition that number is very underwhelming. Sash is dead, so is cult. I’m glad, since both shows are awful. It’s interesting how CBS is unable to make anything work following the NCISs, kind like TVD on the CW.

  • Petar Ivanov

@Is 1.8 OK for CBS now? That seems very low given the promotion.

NOPE, 1,8 premiere its not ok for cbs. Is ok for nbc and abc but not for cbs.

  • JONNYSBRO

Is it me or has Kate Gosselin had so much botox plastic surgery including breast augmentation? U can tell why this woman is single. She is a real wench IMO. I guess having 8 kids is alot but she comes off like a real wench wench. Remember everyone at DWTS said she was the biggest biatch on the planet and Jon Gosselin has stated she was abusive to him LOL. Is there a reason shes still SINGLE? Celebrity Wife Swap did well.

  • Dillan

Pretty good for HOD. The episode was awful, though.

I’m wondering if Cult will even air all its episodes..

  • TJ

NBC Tuesday ratings are an amazing sight to behold.

  • Sean

Looks like NBC will Renew DECEPTION!!!! Yay!!
