Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

NBC Tuesday ratings are an amazing sight to behold.
Looks like NBC will Renew DECEPTION!!!! Yay!!
Its sad Smash will be cancelled after 2 seasons. I hope they can go off with a bang and a great conclusion to the series. The show made a mistake changing showrunners. Eeverything I loved about season 1 isn’t here and the show is boring. Also Katharine McPhee needs to go to acting school, she is very very wooden. Megan Hilty steals the show right and left.
On ABC, the premiere of Celebrity Wife Swap earned a 2.4
That horrified shriek you just heard was the Zero Hour fans!
A 1.8 is OK on Tuesday after TV’s #2 Drama ? So CSI: NY’s 1.6 was what ?
Golden Boy is dead. Next week it will fall to a 1.5-1.6 and on Friday it will be a massacre. This Show is the new Made in Jersey.
I hope NCIS will be adjusted up in the finals.
1.8 was lower than what I was expecting. Oh well, I wasn’t going to watch it anyway.
For those of you who have been here longer than me, how many shows is CBS likely to cancel in one year? They already have Golden Boy, Vegas, CSI NY, and Made in Jersey. I doubt they’ll want to cancel any more and have to promote 5 new dramas next fall.
I wonder if the fact that “Smash” steadied at a woeful 0.9 will ensure that it stays on, basically because NBC has no other alternatives and “The Voice” will help lift the night for the back half of the “Smash” run.
Funny, an awful .6 will get you renewed on the cw
@Sean – No, they won’t.
Not so Golden Boy. A 1.8 is not OK for CBS. Given it will likely drop to a 1.6 or lower next week. I smell a quick death and The Good Wife to Friday next fall.
Smash and BOP scored about .1 higher than I expected. Beginning the season with a two part episode seems to have worked well for BOP.
Golden Boy skewed older than I expected, but still not quite as old as Vegas skews. I wouldn’t quite say it ‘premiered OK’, but not particularly bad either. It looks like Vegas is doing about as well as CBS can expect for that slot this season. GB should do well paired with BB (if this remains CBS’s plan).
NN is not going to make it — so sad.
Well at least Body of Proof is flat and is doing better than any new drama except Nashville so it might cheat death again.
Guess hart of dixie will be upgraded to likely renewed next time, especially if batb stays at 0.5 or goes even lower.
@Jonny Sbro
lmao. I agree 100% with everything you said. She looks like a BOTOX zombie. She be killer on THE WALKING DEAD.
Holy crap at Wife Swap. Barely promoted reality filler and it beats New Girl ane doubled Happy Endings.
Golden Boy really bombed
HAHA FLOP OF PROOF…horrible show with a horrible actress
NBC will not renew at a 1.2. No way
Hart of Dixie half hours:
8.00 pm
1.53 million, A18-49: 0.7/ 2
8.30 pm
1.31 million, A18-49: 0.6/ 2
Very good!!!
“Golden Boy” is performing worse than other CBS mid-season shows “Harper’s Island” , “Rob”
, but better than “Chaos” (Fridays) , Let’s just see how “Golden Boy”
will perform on Fridays.
