    Morning Ibsles and Sunshine
The lower favorable ratings is encouraging. If even the media can’t prop him up maybe there is hope.
Last week when the Pope was leaving I turned to CNN. Their coverage was not about him leaving or anything favorable about the Catholic church but how they need to change and the problems in the church. The next story was Sandy Hook and gun control. Hadn’t tuned in to CNN in a while and was a big mistake.
Any bets on how long Piers Morgan will last at CNN?

  • Ratboy

Good morning Sunshine! I am using my new tablet so I can see you MUCH better :) (plus I can do the whole zoom in thing :twisted)

  • Ratboy

 still getting used to the sensitive touch

Dreamer, If a politicians spouse lies or misrepresents the truth, then people have every right to blame the spouse for the lie. Mrs. Obama claims that studies PROVE her “Let’s move” program is working. However her program hadn’t been in place when the data was collect.

We’ve had President’s Fitness Awards and other exercise programs for years. They are all good. I support any program that promotes good health.

But I do not and will not support people taking credit for something they did not do.

    Good Morning, all.

    @Letmethink,
Any bets on how long Piers Morgan will last at CNN?

Hopefully, about as long as Soledad O’Brien.

DHS built domestic surveillance tech into Predator drones

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has customized its Predator drones, originally built for overseas military operations, to carry out at-home surveillance tasks that have civil libertarians worried: identifying civilians carrying guns and tracking their cell phones, government documents show.

The Electronic Privacy Information Center obtained a partially redacted copy of Homeland Security’s requirements for its drone fleet through the Freedom of Information Act and published it this week. CNET unearthed an un redacted copy of the requirements that provides additional information about the aircraft’s surveillance capabilities.

Mickey O misses the entire point again. Michelle Obama’s obesity plan is ten times that of Bush’s. It reflects the mind set of healthy eating and trys to channel behavior in that direction because it will result in healthier people and much lower healthcare costs over time. The GOP is not concerned with this and is against the government directing or suggesting anyone do something (e.g., the GOP is for cigarettes and against the NY mayor channeling soda drinking behvior toward smaller drink sizes). Dr. Oz, one of the most popular doctors in the country, is all for Michelle’s health program…..

  • TZCA

I’m awaiting a Ratz public service announcement!

  • Cathy

DD, did you read the comments after the Huff Post story. Most people are blaming the GOP for the loop hole and all the problems with Obamacare.

How stupid are people? Even when the GOP doesn’t vote for something, they are blamed for the problems with it.

They are saying that Medicare is the only working government program. And when Hillary becomes President in 2016 they will change Obamacare into nationalized health system.

  • Cathy

The dung beattle is back. Idiot Alert. For my friend Ratboy.

  • TZCA

    thanks Cathy.

Those are the no information/low information/idealogue voters that the Democrats rely upon. So far it is working very well for them.

Drive-by commenter Hillbilly had “commenting withdrawal” and is having a tougher time adjusting to the “no-links” policy since he enjoys linking to other articles on the site. We are monitoring Hillbilly’s situation closely.

Getting ready to put 5 slabs of ribs in the smoker! The people in my office will eat good tomorrow!

This is what REALLY upsets the right wingers: Billo–3mm people; Obama–53 mm people (voters) and the presidency for the next 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ratboy

Nope, same sheet of sh#$

The board went down before I got to post this yesterday.

First on Woodward and his threat from the White House. Nice spin here by the press, saying that a threat can only be physical violence.
I can’t believe Woodward is now saying that Fox and other media outlets are making to much of it. Because he (Woodward) never felt physically in danger. No one even said Woodward was in physical danger. But yelling, “If you do this we will be sorry.” and continuing to yell at someone for 30 minutes is threatening. I wish Woodward is returning to his lapdog position in the Obama Administration.

Now about the Obama press conference after meeting with GOP.
Of course Obama blamed the GOP. And it’s all about increasing taxes. Are the American peoples memory so short that they forgot Obama just got a tax increase and increase spending two months ago? Is Obama going to ask for more taxes and more spending every two months? To bad the media didn’t ask that question.

dada dada dada dada dada Lapdogs dada dada dada dada Lapdogs Lapdogs Lapdogs dada dada dada dada! LAPDOGS!
The true SUPER HEROES of the Obama administrations. Obama gets a semi-hard question, about the sequester then he calls on the Lap Dogx. They save him with a question and re-question about gay marriage. Then a question about “Looking past the sequester, who is Obama planning on stopping another road block.”

  • TZCA

This is what REALLY upsets the right wingers: Establishment Republicans (RINOs) no different than Democrats, Conservative Republicans who want fiscal responsibility and labeled as radicals for wanting this, Democrats (or liberal Independents) like Mayor Bloomberg saying that the United States has an unlimited supply of money, and low information voters who vote for Obama for all the wrong reasons and tout that we can’t cut spending in a big recession but then refuse to acknowledge that according to the Democrats we are no longer in a recession.

Looks like USA0000 proves his ignorance once again.
