Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.
Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Ratings for 666 Park Ave don’t look so bad now, do they ABC? They need to at least it the last 4 episodes with Revenge or move Revenge and go back to the Sunday Movie of the Week like the old days. I bet they wish they didn’t lose Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters.
If “Hannibal” works out for NBC, it and other shows with similar schedules should go on Sundays after football ends. That, or some sort of live broadcast of plays or something. Depending on when this would start (that is, before or after the Superbowl), it’d be a good fit for the night and would relieve pressure on NBC and producers of such shows to pad.
Flop Widow = D.O.A.
Flopprentice = The end is near
A 45 year old news program tied for 5th in the demo and came first in total viewers of all the shows on the major broadcast networks on a Sunday night. Broadcast network TV will be gone in 10 years tops. NBC will be the first to go
What? OUAT at 2.1…it will sink under 2.0 for sure when daylight savings comes…and even mooore lower next year aganist the winter Olympics
Red Widow dead…
Oh dear – I really thought I was reaching when I predicted 1.5 for Red Widow – but to see I could’ve gone even lower. Ouch for them. Mind you, as I said yesterday, they were up against Walking Dead and Celeb Apprentice, so I’m not surprised they didn’t do well. (Not that Apprentice did either, now that I look!)
“The Simpsons” beats “Once Upon a Time” and is the #2 show of the evening on all networks. Go Homer!
Celebrity Apprentice should have picked a better cast than the lackluster “All Stars” line up. If those were the best returnees they could find they should have had another season with all new celebrities.
The Good Wife beat The Mentalist ? It’s maybe time to end the Red John’s story.
I don’t care if The Mentalist or The Good Wife get cancelled I just want another Season of CSI: NY !
Go The Simpsons
@PMR:
It might make sense for ABC to put “The Avengers” show here next Sundays and move the other shows to new nights.
Well I guess I won’t bother with red widow I can delete it off the dvr
Yes TGW up. Lol ABC are flopping.
Saw a few weeks ago Donald Trump tweeted bashing Shark Tanks Friday ratings…and how the Apprentice was at one time the #1 rated show. Funny that Friday show got better ratings than his.
Are these mid season shows ever going to work without great promotion, understanding these high concept premises and asking the savvy viewer to commit to 10 to 12 episodes when they know it’ll be flushed after three airings? Very rare anymore.
Not a single show over 3.0, damn.
What a weird night. The Cleveland Show airing at 8:30, Bob’s Burgers airing at 9:30 after an encore, Once Upon A Time hits low, Red Widow way down as Celebrity Apprentice, History Channel doing 2.7 A18-49 at 8 and 1.6 A18-49 at 10 in Top 25 TV Markets…
@Jayzel
Broadcast network TV will be gone in 10 years tops
People said that a decade ago, they were also wrong.
I guess Red Widow’s performance seals Nashville’s rookie drama renewal.
@Brian J
ABC probably is not putting SHIELD up against football and TWD.
Good Wife recovered and CBS tied for number 1. Noy bad.
Red Widow is dead. Nashville will be renewed.
