Hold on to second place NBC!

  • Wowza

FOX might rise to first with The FOllowing and Idol tuesdays wed and thursdays for some weeks.

Also, CBS just began airing low rated new shows and low rated survivor, and NBC is just plain falling.

THE voice wil premiere very very very low compared to aslt Falls success.

IDOL is dominant over The Voice. Really, whichever show airs frst is going to do better in the raitings.

Also, expect Idol to work hard for the ratings this year. Big numebrs are coming.

  • Bob

CBS is always the best network in all things….nothing surprises me.

  • rob60990

There’s no chance FOX gets first place. They’ve yet to beat NBC for 2nd.

  • Ultima

    @Rabbit
Hold on to second place NBC!

FOX will probably move ahead of NBC this week; if not, definitely next week.

  • j

FOX may pass NBC for 2nd, but won’t pass CBS for 1st in 18-49′s.

  • TV Addict

Even if Fox passed NBC in the next two weeks, NBC could still get second by the end of the season thanks to The Voice.

  • THE OLD MAN

I’m w/ Ultima, though they may just do it this week

  • Max Vrany

Bill needs to show how crazy the talk of FOX winning is. I think they need to beat CBS by over a point a week at least.

  • karin

FOX was third with a 2.5, down 26% from last season.
    – 26 % is terrible

  • Joe

    @Wowza

Please stop talking. You obviously think Fox is great know matter what they do. You sound ridiculous.

  • Samunto

    @Wowza
You’re so delusional. Why don’t first check the ratings for Idol on this site and then see those for last year and see how far it drops for the live shows! Till then, stop talking crap!

NBC still has a very very good chance of finishing 2nd overall.
CBS is down even despite the super bowl.

“Bill needs to show how crazy the talk of FOX winning is. I think they need to beat CBS by over a point a week at least.”

That effort is not worth my time. Whoever thinks that is possible should consult their local mental health professional.

    Unrounded through week 23
    FOX 2.546256427
    NBC 2.558025038
    ABC 2.319308189

Fox needs to beat NBC by 0.02/week to pass them by the end of the season, or by 0.09/week to pass them before The Voice returns.

ABC needs to beat NBC by 0.45/week to pass them by the end of the season, or by 1.83/week (not possible) before The Voice returns.

  • Aron

Even if the voice returns strong fox will still come in 2nd, fox all week is more stronger than NBC

  • American

1st is locked in place for CBS, I’m rooting for NBC 2nd but it might go to FOX, very iffy, and then ABC 4th.

  • THE OLD MAN

NBC only has The Voice & Revolution that will make any serious dent (ie) 4/hrs per wk, Mon & Tues (before Tues seriously deflates) REMEMBER: They don’t have SNF on Sundays anymore

FOX is strong Sun-Mon, Wed-Thur & generally beats NBC Tues 9-10

FOX will be #2 by this week and should finish the season there as well

  • HowardBeale

Would CBS be 18-49 ratings leader without this year’s SuperBowl?

  • THE OLD MAN

    @ HowardBeale

Yes. It would have a 2.8.

  • Fred

USA TODAY just released Season To Date ratings for the major networks:

FOX is now tied with NBC for 2nd place (2.9 million) in the 18-49 demo in terms of viewers.

  • Fred

FOX and NBC have a very tough fight come this spring. Gonna be really close.
Really depends how strong The Voice returns and to a lesser degree Revolution.
