Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    My predictions:

Bones & The Following = Adjusted up
The Carrie Diaries, Rules of Engagement and 90210 = adjusted down

  • Jazz

They are airing all 11 episodes of season 1. They will reveal WhoDunIt. But, they have also indicated they have a plan for season 2 so it could have both. It ends in 2 weeks. NBC committed to all the shows from the beginning.

I remember Terriers ended in a way that felt like an ending or a cliffhanger if they got a season 2.

  • Jazz

Sorry. 11 episodes of season 1 of Deception.

  • Networkman

Rules of Engagement did great considering it was the only original amongst all repeats. But it doesn’t matter anyways, because I don’t think ROE will be coming back.

The Carrie Diaries really has a shot of being renewed. I think it would work well behind Hart of Dixie in the 9pm hour. And I’m glad to see that The Following actually had more viewers than Bones. Could be because the CBS comedies were in repeats. It has always won in demo but dropped in viewership.

  • TVDxItachi

CW is a joke, there were airing old promo for TCD the entire Monday. Dint know there was a new Episode till TED recap kicked in. Even worst the CW YouTube channel gives out there promo and all videos in SD quality. Some1 contact those idiots..

  • Jordan

Well, well…look at that. Carrie Diaries is UP.

I guess Beauty & the Beast is doomed after all. LOL.

  • Charmed

The finals are taking forever :(

  • Barbie

I’m surprised NBC hasn’t canceled Deception. It says something about your show when it’s losing to two reruns.

  • Charmed

Are the finals delayed or something?

  • Lauren

    @Claudia

You’re sweet with your low ratings and your “fanbase” for Hart Of Dixie. Jealousy maybe because BATB ratings are a joke with the best lead-in of the network?

  • iggy

though i do think roe is getting cancelled…just cuz david spade and patrick warburton are in pilots doesn’t make it so…

Their contracts are up, according to Deadline.

Damon Wayons Jr must be singing “Who’s Sorry Now” to himself on a fairly regular basis

Probably not. He was just cast to star in a comedy from 20th Fox.

  • THE OLD MAN

    @ iggy

The FOX comedy is just a pilot, or has it been announced for the Sept 2013 season? NG is a known commodity & its ratings state it should be around for awhile (ie) better chances than HE.

  • Paola

Please renew Deception!!!! It’s the only chance I have to see Victor Garber.

  • Savannah

Ugh deception deserves more views. Its such an amazing show it’s one of my favorites!
