American Idol Season 12

After what seems like an eternity, the voting rounds of American Idol finally begin tonight, with a two-hour episode. Will that generate new interest in the show? Last Thursday's episode scored a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating. How will it do tonight? Make your prediction,  or, if you prefer, cast your SuperVote, below.

It’ll get a 2.7 but no more. After all, it’s on against a repeat of Beauty and the Beast…an absolutely wonderful episode…you can’t miss the last 5 min…. ;) I mean it..then come back on Thurs for more. :D

But seriously getting out of BATB mode for a moment, even though I’m still watching Idol, I really think it’s going to have struggles this year. It may pick up in the top 10 live shows, but not at this point. I have always watched it, and although I’m liking Keith Urban and able to tolerate Minaj better than I thought (Mariah is just kind of blah so far, unfortunately), I’m bored already with the actual contestants.

Is it possible that Idol will fall behind The Voice’s season 3 18-49 average?

    Only a 3.5 OUCH!
