hannity wins again!!!
Fox swept the ratings for both overall and the key demo (25-54)categories for all shows – even on a night of a major news event (Chavez’s death) – a night which CNN usually picks up some steam. Morgan’s ratings are in 3rd place, Hannity is handling Maddow comfortably. And, Ed is, well Ed. Ed, obviously, is a believer but I’m reminded of the line from “Forest Gump”: Stupid is as stupid does.
HLN(CNN) is on FIRE!!!
They’re the only station who’s numbers have gone up from last year and 2011.
oh btw hannitys on fire lol how did hln do against hannity?
WOW! HLN beating CNN and MSNBC for several primetime hours! Why? Its horrible news programming…
@1966 – um what in the world kind of point are you trying to make?
@1966
Hannity is way down in the key demo numbers compared to 2011 and 2012.
Hannity was getting over 600,000 key demo viewers back then and now he gets around 340,000. He’s dropped by over 40% in the past 2 years.
@Derek “WOW! HLN beating CNN and MSNBC for several primetime hours…”
In case you didn’t know HLN and CNN are part of the same team.
I saw the clip of O’Reilly’s meltdown from last night…it was hilarious. Alan Colmes hit the right buttons and Billo the Clown went bananas. It reminded me of his Inside Edition meltdown. He needs to get back on his meds or take some anger management classes.
Bill didn’t have a meltdown. He asked Mr. Colmes several times to name one program The President has made a spending cut on. Colmes couldn’t and instead kept repeating a general statement that Obama said he “Would” cut medicaid/medicare. Making a general statement is not the same as actually cutting a portion of a program. Bill wanted this emphasized and it was.
I thought BO went a bit overboard but he did apologize, which itself is more than most people on cable.
Yes, O’Reilly had a meltdown and while I think it was justifiable given the garbage Colms was dishing out. Colms really is such a’tool’ – simply mouthing the typical liberal dribble and platitudes. Having said that, O’Reilly would have made a better case by simply staying on point. Even Monica was embarrassed. Colms will be back because he has no other significant audience.
Ratings: Fox News Crushes Competition; HLN Beats CNN
Last week, out of all 94 cable channels measured by Nielsen for ratings, Fox News ranked fourth, just behind History, USA, and Disney.
MSNBC came in 23rd, CNN 36th, HLN 34th, and Current TV dead last.
Ratings are so low for Current TV in what’s known as “total day,” they couldn’t even be measured accurately.
I rest my case.
@Tama “Bill didn’t have a meltdown”
Are you kidding me? He was in total meltdown mode…he even had the shakes for a while. By the way, Medicare is a Program.
@b
And Fox News key demo ratings are down by over 40% from 2011.
Ouch!!! That’s gonna leave a mark!
Matthews had a 666.
Almost as big a mark as being humiliated in the ratings by FOX..nite after nite… also..BO must be absolutely hysterical, watching his nemesis Keith Olberd**k desperately looking for a job..even ESPN wants no part of the crazy loser…Bill must have a laugh riot each day, watching the man who was so jealous of him, ending without a show on MSNBC,Current, or anywhere else…couldn’t happen to a nicer guy…hee hee hee
Someone yesterday posted that Maddow has been ‘consistently’ Hannity? HA, HA, HA!
For those of you who are AMAZED that HLN’s ratings are so high: Isn’t HLN covering that trial of that woman who killed her hubby? HLN’s numbers ALWAYS shoot up during a gossipy trial.
For you libtards, it’s another day where Fox beats MSDNC in the demos big time, so all you have to say is that Fox’s numbers aren’t what they used to be. How about this, then? Fox is STILL NUMBER 1. MSNBC is Fox’s beotch.
From HLN: “HLN is covering the Jodi Arias trial live gavel-to-gavel as it comes to its dramatic conclusion. Arias is accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in the head, stabbing him multiple times, and slitting his throat from ear-to-ear in 2008. Arias says she killed him in self-defense. If convicted of first-degree murder, she could face the death penalty.”
Yeah, I can understand why HLN is kicking a*s this week.
