When McCain arrived in Washinton DC the national debt stood at $1.2 Trillion dollars. Since then it has increased 1280%. Even if you account for inflation, the debt has increased about 500%. Thanks John for all of those great deals you made.

Sen. Rand Paul’s filibuster against the confirmation of CIA Director and “drone czar” John Brennan offers a “teachable moment” to the media and the left about the Tea Party. As they seethe in outrage and confusion that it took a Republican to question the constitutionality of drone attacks, it is important to remind our friends on the other side that it wasn’t just any Republican, but a–gasp!–Tea Party Republican who spoke “truth to power.”

Maybe over there, most people don’t believe the brother is a Kenyan, but an American. Let’s face it, who would want to have an American running their country these days?

White House, Holder respond to Rand Paul: ‘The answer is no’

Attorney General Eric Holder wrote Sen. Rand Paul,R-Ky., to confirm that President Obama does not have the authority to kill an American on U.S. soil in a non-combat situation, Obama’s spokesman announced today.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney quoted from the letter that Holder sent to Paul today. “Does the president have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on an American soil?” Holder wrote, per Carney. “The answer is no.”

Carney added that, “if the United States were under attack, there were an imminent threat,” the president has the authority to protect the country from that assault.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., criticized Paul for posing the question. “I find the question offensive,” he said on the Senate floor this morning.

CNN Gives 8 Times the Coverage to Beyonce’s Lip Sync Than Obama’s Falsehood

CNN gave over eight times more coverage to Beyonce lip synching the national anthem than it did to President Obama’s falsehood on the sequester last Friday.

After the President claimed in last Friday’s presser that Capitol Hill janitors and police would receive a pay cut because of the sequester, CNN correspondent Dana Bash fact-checked it and found it not to be the case. Her report aired twice that day and two more times over last weekend. She covered the matter for 45 seconds in each report, so CNN’s coverage totaled three minutes.

Poll: Americans Trust GOP Congress Over Obama On Guns

In a Quinnipiac University poll released today, 42% of voters trust Obama on the issue of guns, compared to 44% for congressional Republicans.

    Plus

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?

    45% Approve

    46% Disapprove

Republicans don’t have a lot to crow about regarding the rest of the poll, though.

Van Jones: Roger Ailes Calling Obama “Lazy” Is Rac*st…

I’ve been waiting for the lazy comment to equated as rac*sm.

President Dwight Eisenhower was called lazy & he was white.

I suggest that we analyze the individual – not the race. In circumstances good and bad. It insults millions of hard-working Americans of all races to give him unearned credit. Once the platitudes are removed, we will find that others did the heavy lifting while he took credit and deflected blame.

French Workers Clash With Police After Tire Plant Shuts Down

The CEO of US tire company Titan International, Maurice “Morry” Taylor, blasted French “workers” in a letter to the left-wing industry minister last month. In the letter, published in the French media, Taylor said he would have to be stupid to invest in a French tire plant where union workers are working only three hours a day.

Staff clashed with police outside the offices near Paris as a workers’ committee held a series of meetings to discuss the closure of the Amiens factory in the north of the country.

Bosses announced the planned closure at the end of January, threatening more than a thousand jobs

Riot police lined up to keep the protesters out of the building. They were faced with burning tires and other makeshift missiles, and responded with tear-gas.

Stan T. I know you are just venting, but call her supervisor. If that doesn’t work keep going up the chain. You can also go to a business commission meeting and ask them what the problem is.

“Keating 5? McCain is the REASON Obama is in the White House. Time for these RINOS to stop representing themselves and start representing Americans. McCain and Graham – retire and do whatever but STOP killing the Republican Party.

    ************************************
I think it’s funny when the left talks about McCain they don’t seem to remember that he is a self-identified progressive…that means he’s not as bad as Obama, but he’s still bad. I voted for him in 2008, only because I knew he wouldn’t do as much damage to the country as Obama already has done.

Dianna Hanson, 24, of Brier, who was killed by a lion Wednesday at an exotic animal park in California after she entered the cage with the lion deserves a Darwin award.

I’m sick of hearing people saying the owner was at fault for letting her have access to the keys. She knew she wasn’t allowed in the cage. I hate this blame others country.

My guess is, since only the owner was allowed in the cage, that she wasn’t GIVEN the keys, she probably TOOK the keys…stupid is stupid…I know people who aren’t the smartest cookie in the box, but none of them would have gone into that cage…

Obama never even ran a hot dog stand and he ate a dog when he was six.

He is everything I thought he would be. The second coming of David Dinkins. The Mayor that ruined NY. The city turned to the fiscal conservative, tough on crime, socially liberal Guiliuni to fix it. He lowered taxes, cracked down on crime and cut spending, he paid the bills.

I wrote this the other day but it is worth repeating.

The corrupt, secular, left wing, s0-called objective media said NY was ungovernable. Another lie by the most corrupt organization in the history of America.

The truth is that is liberalism in a nutshell.

Well Guys, I heard it all now!!
I just came back from an appointment with a client of mine that are in the process of listing their home. I went today to get pictures and Mrs told me the following. Mr has been in Afganistan since July doing some hjigh end terrorist stuff. He comes home at the end of the month. He is a commisioned officer, Air Force reserve but attached to an active duty company. When he gets home, HE IS OUT OF A JOB!!! NO PAY!!! there is work but due to the way the sequester is written there is no money for him! Plus, there is no money for the reserves to get paid to attend the reserve meetings/training that is required by LAW!! Now the janitors at the White House CANT be layed off and wont be, Obama (it was reported today) is already planning and making reservations for his August Martha’s Vinyard vacation, he took the a$$holes from congress to a swanky restaurant last night for a dinner, the Dept of Agriculture is still going to host a couple MAJOR and EXPENSIve conferances BUT…………..a military reservist will no longer have a job or pay!!!!!
    ONLY IN OBAMA’S AMERICA!!!!!!!!

The Violence Against Women Act is nothing but a way to buy votes and paint the GOP in a bad light. A way for the democrats to show that the GOP has a “War” against women.

Violence against anyone should not be tolerated. So why are we celebrating a law that overlooks 50% of the country’s population. A simple look at MTV’s reality show Teen Mom 2, shows that women do abuse men often. One of the four young mom’s abuses her ex very show, even hitting him with a TV once. She assaults him on TV weekly and has never been arrested for this crime. A second physical attacks her ex because his new girlfriend is with him. When the young man defends himself, she runs to the police and gets an order of protection against him. Luckily for the young man, he had witnesses that she attacked him.

This is bill is a spending act. It’s get 660 million from the Federal government each year. However data shows us that only 1.3 million women are victims each year. That’s over 507 million for each victims. But still they ask for more money, saying they need housing for these women. At 507 million a victim I think they can buy each of them a house. Can’t you see how wasteful that is?

This act went into place in 1994 and yet domestic violence is on the raise. If a program almost 20 years old hasn’t decreased domestic violence then that program is not working.

This act should be changed to protect everyone in the USA, the funds cut and there should be oversite on how the funding is spent.
    Here are some stats.
The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence show that
many forget that significant amounts of domestic violence cases happen to both sexes as well as children. The same study that found that 1.3 million women were assaulted by their partner every year also found that 835,000 men fell victim to the same violence. Aggregate totals of more than 250 studies since the 1970s find that men and women nearly split partner violence rates halfway. One study in 2011 conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 40 percent of severe, physical domestic violence cases were against men.

When we ignore male victims of domestic abuse, we also ignore their children, who continue to be damaged by witnessing the violence regardless of how severe it is. We cannot break this inter-generational cycle by ignoring half of it. That’s why a global coalition of experts has formed to support a research-based, inclusive approach, and their website has solid data showing women initiate the violence as often as men.

A University of Florida study recently found women are more likely than men to “stalk, attack and abuse” their partners. “We’re seeing women in relationships acting differently nowadays than we have in the past,” said Angela Gover, a UF criminologist who led the research. “The nature of criminality has been changing for females, and this change is reflected in intimate relationships as well.”

The republicans who voted against this act did so because of the spending it is given. The fact that it is nothing but bowing to the wants of special interest groups.
This act as a whole is not good for anyone in this country. It has some very good points but it should increased to protect everyone. And it’s funding needs to be cut and there needs to be an over site of the way the funds are spent.
