Was thinking NCIS would adjust up to tie Idol, but they both adjusted up. Nevertheless, Idol is definitely on the decline but will still be around for a couple more seasons. (NCIS will be too)

A 0.8 and woeful 2.68m viewers, axed….not only that but NBC has chosen NOT to give Smash the big lead in on March 26th, its giving that slot to that new reality crap version of The Batchelor – NBC style.

American Idol’s at sub-Voice levels now, ain’t it? And last season of the Voice was ridiculously stable and had incredibly good talent all around. Money says The Voice will top AI once all is said and done.
I predict The Voice will start in the 5s (hype for Usher and Shakira) then settle somewhere in the 3s. It all depends on the talent though, of course.

Hopefully American will fall below 2.9 by seasons end and so that next season will be it final year… This shoe got old after its first few seasons.., its horrible

Still atrocious numbers for Smash. People who think it and TNN are returning next season are delusional. NBC is in dire need of a hit drama/comedy that ISN’T lead-in dependent.

Body of Proof was next to ridiculous last night. The gore was almost on a par with The Walking Dead.
Tim Dekay from White Collar gave an excellent performance as a religious fanatic, but that was about it.
Dana Delany’s character was even more unlikeable than usual, insulting both a doctor and a nurse within five minutes of the show starting and snapping non-stop at the two comic relief doctors. And then after all her “it ain’t magic” snorts they end the episode with a clear example of at least telepathy.
Stupid doesn’t begin to describe it.
This show is utterly doomed. It will never see 2.0 again, which appears to be the only reason it was renewed last season.
By end of this season’s run, it will be doing sub-1.0 numbers. No doubt about that at all.
