ugh cant stand whitney, but good for the fans.. one of the few shows recently (especially comedy) to move up this week..
c’mon community, this week episode looks great
CookieMonsta……American Idol is a dying show in the sense that we are ALL, technically, dying and will one day die. Perhaps American Idol has now reached middle age, but it will likely still outlast every other show on the air today (except, ironically, pun intended, “Survivor”).
Really glad that AI beat the Dynasty quackers
American Idol was adjusted up from a 3.8 to a 3.8?
No 3.7 to 3.8
Does anybody know when the middle and modern family start syndication?
@ NBC Fan
This fall for both
@THE OLD MAN
Thanks!
@Rob: I always thought the 7th season was its middle-age threshold. It was also the last season in which they averaged at least a 10.0 in the 18-49 demo.
Survivor was good last night. So glad Laura is gone. Too bad Sherri’s still there.
Rob R hit right on the button. AI may be dying in that no show will last forever but I would bet it outlast’s any other prime time show currently on. It will make it to 20 years easily.
Survivor is one of those shows that has strong fanbase and will get good ratings no matter how crappy the season is.
Good night
Again, I have to say look at all those repeats. After 9PM there really wasn’t any point in watching regular network TV.
Even for a rerun…Nashville may be done.
Survivor’s casting for “Favorites” is very poor, they should have done Heroes vs Villains 2 instead since almost all the Favorites” could qualify for the Villains cast
Anyway, The Middle’s repeat rating did well! I think that helped Neighbors from hitting a new series low. I like it a lot but I’m not raising my hopes it will get a renewal. Better with You performed similarly but in the end midsesason Happy Endings (which I love for the record) got the renewal instead and that could happen this year if How to Live with Your Parents will do well.
@ Paul, Nashville is as done as Chicago Fire that only got 1.0. Both shows are widely expected to return & don’t worry about a show that was rerun from last month.
American Idol is in no way a “flop”. It was the #1 show on television for 8 years, and even in its twelfth season, it still pulls very high numbers.
People just ignore posters who uses flop just to provoke reactions, they know it’s not flop they just want to stir drama
Wasn’t a damn thing on last night – and only Person of Interest on Thursday.
Might as well have slept through the entire week – aside from the cable shows…
Why do ALL the networks decide to not program for an entire week?
