"Survivor," "The Amazing Race," "Criminal Minds" and "Elementary" Conclude Season with Two-Hour Finales
CBS today announced season finale air dates that will include two-hour finales for SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN – FANS VS. FAVORITES, THE Amazing Race, Criminal Minds and ELEMENTARY.

I see that CBS is trying to kill the Idol finale on May 16 with TBBT, it just might work.
Elementary scored big; getting the TBBT Season Finale as its lead-in.

Interesting… should anything be read into the fact that TGW is not going to air during May Sweeps?
Elementary getting a 2 hour finale while Person of Interest ends a week early is absolutely ridiculous. It should be the other way around.
so that explains why Elementary was a rerun after POI. They want to do a 2 hour finale.

No. It ended in April last year as well, due to the Amazing Race and Survivor finales traditionally being broadcast in May, plus they also want to avoid the Billboard Music Awards on the 19th.
It looks like TGW will only have one more break this season – April 7. I’m down with that.
I don’t get it why HIMYM + 2BG is ending a week earlier than RoE + M&M if they are not doing 1-hour episodes. The same goes to 2.5 Men and The Big Bang Theory…. While for the second ones I have a guess which is so both POI and Elementary would have a good lead-in, but for Elementary there will be a half an hour gap before it starts…
So that projected TGW date was correct, it’s airing almost uninterrupted from now and will be leaving early.
So what is Elementary’s lead-in for that 2 hour finale? A repeat of Two and a Half Men?
Seems silly.
All the Elementary haters are going to have a field day. First they bash Vegas, now they’re bashing Elementary. They’re just bitter CBS is actually promoting Elementary and trying to support it.
I think Elementary’s two-hour finale would have a TBBT repeat lead-in, which would be huge!
Can anybody tell me how many episodes for those shows, mainly for person of interest … Please !!
TGW did the same last year. Has nothing to do w renewal/cancel.
The Good Wife should be on Tuesday night 10pm!
Ratings wise The Good Wife deserves to be cancelled. The only reason it has lasted this long is critical acclaim.

Or because it had decent ratings its first two seasons and was renewed last season because CBS thinks that they can sell it into syndicationn.
