    @TahatheKid
    Person of Interest has 23 episodes.

  • Ultima

    @Raykov
    I don’t get it why HIMYM + 2BG is ending a week earlier than RoE + M&M if they are not doing 1-hour episodes.

    Because HIMYM and 2 Broke Girls had hour-long episodes in the fall. CBS was going to have to air a week where Rules and Mike & Molly were new and the others in repeats no matter what, so might as well do it during sweeps.

    Glad CM’s getting another 2-hour finale. A show of faith from the network. Don’t get why CBS is giving Elementary a 2-hour finale and not the better-rated POI. They keep trying to give this show a chance and it’s continually approving to be just so-so for them.

  • Martha

    I wish POI get a 2 hour SF b/c every episode seems so short and jam-packed.
    Time flys fast when watching POI. :)

  • Dan

    Elementary will definitely return. CBS should hand out early renewals, my guess is to these shows. NCIS, HIMYM, & Big Bang have all been renewed so

    Survivor
    Amazing Race
    Undercover Boss
    CSI
    Criminal Minds
    NCIS LA
    Hawaii 5-0
    Blue Bloods
    Person of Interest
    Elementary
    Two and a Half Men
    2 Broke Girls
    Mike & Molly

    Rules of Engagement, CSI NY, Vegas, Good Wife, The Mentalist, and Golden Boy will all be left in the dark until May.

    Noooo I miss POI already! Btw I was really hoping it would get a 24 ep season. I know it’s not owned by CBS but it’s really starting to catch on with the critics and deserves more promotion…

    Here in UK we just go by the ratings total to decide if a show is a hit or a flop.We obviously dont have the same time spend on ad breaks or in the case of BBC no ads at all which US stations clearly need for cash flow.UK tv would renew Good Wife/Mentalist as they are winning the total number of viewers compared to the competition on the other networks in the same time slot

  • Bri

    happy to see Criminal Minds will have once again a 2 hours season finale!

  • Michael

    If you look into this….it is NOT good news for Good Wife or The Mentalist. I would want another week in or so in order to feel ‘safer’ about my chances of renewal. :/

  • M123

    Should be an interesting May 16 ratings-wise- The Office finale, Idol, and TBBT

  • Paul

    CBS normally ends their Sunday shows early because of The Amazing Race and Survivor finales.

    Please CBS – please please please renew The Good Wife! I am surprised TNT or Lifetime has not announced a syndication deal yet. They’d be perfect fits.

  • Gomer

    The tvline article from Mitovich implies that the Good Wife is getting a series finale. His article says TGW says goodbye on April 28th. That would be horrible. Recently CBS tested TGW reruns on Friday so hopefully it will be moved there over being canceled.

  • Joey

    Probably the Series Finale for Good Wife

  • Networkman

    The Good Wife deserves a final short season of 13 episodes. It does well with total viewers, it simply does not appeal to the younger demo. Vegas has the same issue and that is why CBS is trying it on Friday. CBS should renew The Good Wife before Vegas. In my opinion, the CBS network always seemed more concern about getting the most “eyeballs” watching a particular progarm and if the younger demo is included that is great. And that is how they are now winning the demo race. I don’t feel as if they specifically choose programs gear toward the younger crowd.

    Why do networks with crap low rated shows(like golden boy)think telling people what critics think will make people watch?

  • HandSanitizer

    CBS really do hope Elementary will become their next big hit, do they?
    with all privilage gave by CBS, this show just another huge flop/dissapointment with their awful rating (rating did not match with how special treatments CBS gave to this show).

  • Ash

    @Mon

    Airing after the Superbowl didn’t do anything to boost Elementary’s ratings, and a BBT repeat will?

  • DelPrete

    Love TV show Vegas, can’t believe it got (1) not even smiling face. That’s an awesome show so is Golden Boy he’s so hot. I love the show’s Thanks CBS.
