Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Expected OUAT to dip or stay flat because of daylight time and I expect Revenge to dip for the same reason.

  • The Old Woman

I think OUAT ratings are not going to improve all that much in the future. The show is tired and boring. It’s got a great spot on Sunday night but the ratings are not great. Plus the show is expensive to make as well.

It will get another season but I think that’s it.

  • maximillian

@Richard — I thought the SAME thing in that episode last night. When she said “no more distractions”, I thought the writers were making a clear message “We have heard the complaints loud and clear…. we are gonna fix it!”.

Also, Max said he will no longer post. Hence why he is not around.

  • Matt

I think Once would have actually increased last night had it not been for DST. Hence why the ratings didn’t decline from last week. Total viewers are actually slightly higher than last week too. It needs to do better!

  • Keith

2.0 is still not that great for a scripted 9 p.m. show. It was getting higher ratings at 10 p.m. last year. I hope it can continue to bounce back, but I think next year it should be moved to 10 pm and give a new show a chance to succeed at 9pm and then hopefully Revenge can take care of ABC’s 10 pm problem on Sundays.

NM, looks like NBC was airing a repeat 7-9.

    AM FUNN 1.2 5.79/ 1.5 6.83
    OUAT 2.2 7.55/ 2.2 7.35
    REV 2.1 7.12/ 1.9 6.55
    RED WI 1.2 5.49/ 1.1 5.14

    60 Min 1.5 10.77/ 1.6 11.93
    TAR 2.3 9.34/ 2.4 9.12
    TGW 1.5 8.98/ 1.5 9.17
    TM 1.6 9.38/ 1.6 9.46

    CA 1.6 4.63/ 1.6 4.64/ 1.8 5.16/ 1.9 5.45

The ABC numbers for Once did not improve much, but Revenge seems to have recovered somewhat. Still these ratings are far below what these two shows were averaging just a couple of months ago. I would say that Viewers have made up their minds and have lost interest in watching the shows live. Red Widow is just DOA…

TGW and TM… Wow… Tons of viewers but lousy demos. TM specially has been hurt by the move to Sundays, and it is sad to see how far it has fallen…

Overall the ratings for the first Sunday of DST look about the same…

It won’t be surprised when the Cable ratings are released for us to find out TWD, The Bible, and Vikings rule last night… Now imagine when GOT comes back in a couple of weeks… UGH..

  • Cyrax86

Pull Red Widow and air Zero Hour instead!

  • BL

666 Park Avenue was so much better than Red Widow. The only good thing about the show is the teenage boy (Sterling Beaumon).

I believe OUAT’s ratings will go up next week as last night’s episode earned positive reception.

  • Woody

@Abc123 Neither is a 1.5 for TGW, regardless of syndication prospects and it being a CBS production.

Honestly it could go either way with the two, but I actually think they may renew both – especially if all three of Golden Boy, Vegas and CSI: NY go.

  • maximillian

    @The Old Woman,

If it gets a 3rd season, it will get the 4th. Disney/ABC will be able to syndicate this easily across many of networks. They also will make money on this if it stays in the 2’s.

No doubt, Revenge and OUAT will both get 3rd and 4th seasons.

  • David

Happy for both Family Guy and The Amazing Race for winning both of their timeslots!

  • eridapo

    hey rob60990,

Will you be taking Max’ place on Monday’s now?

  • Dan

I think Revenge is slowly getting back up there. Hopefully it stabilizes at 2.0 to 2.3. Red Widow is dead but ABC will likely air all episodes. The Mentalist and The Good Wife could both be dead.

  • nerv

Family Guy tops broacast Sunday while The Walking Dead lords over them all!

  • Avery

    Great job, ABC!
Both episodes of OUAT and Revenge were the best episodes in months.

  • Jade

ABCs Sunday 10pm timeslot is the new ABC Thursday 8pm timeslot. Nothing seems to be working at either of those times no matter what series they put there.

  • Samunto

I’m one of those who stopped watching OUAT but it beats me how fast the series has fallen.
Interesting to see how Celebrity Apprentice maintained last week’s ratings – expected it to fall after the curiosity factor is out.

I think Red Widow will finish it’s run on the slot.

  • Greg

If Once Upon a Time and Revenge stay the same for the rest of the season (and I think they will), they should keep both shows together and maybe move Nashville to 10pm next season. OUAT is not the hit it used to be and no new show will survive with a 2.0 of a lead in.

  • BL

I agree with you on this one. Plus, by next year in S3 Revenge and OUAT will be so close to its syndication deal.
