Univision Ranks as #1 Broadcast Network Saturday Night Among Both Demos

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of March 4 to March 10, 2013

  • For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC and NBC in both demographics. 

 

ü  This marks the sixth consecutive week where Univision ranked #4 or higher among both demographics.

 

ü  Among Adults 18-34, beat NBC every night, out-performing by +109%; beat CBS on six nights (+57%) and ABC on five nights (+49%).

 

ü  Among Adults 1849, beat NBC on six nights, out-performing by +62%; beat ABC on five nights (+23%) and CBS on four nights.

 

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #3 network among both Adults 18-34 Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics. 

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS and ABC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34; top 10 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC and ABC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • On Friday night, Univision aired the two-hour grand finale of its 8pm novela “Por Ella Soy Eva.” The novela:

ü  Averaged 6.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 3.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.9 Million Adults 18-34.

 

ü  During the two-hour finale (8:00pm-10:00pm) and for the entire night (8:00pm-11:00pm), Univision was the #1 Broadcast Network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

ü  Ranked as the #1 program of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  Currently ranks among Top 10 primetime novela finales of all-time on Univision (since 1992) with Adults 18-49 (#8) and Total Viewers 2+ (#10).

 

  • Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #1 among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS in both demographics.  “Sabado Gigante” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.5 Million, +19%), Adults 18-49 (1.0 Million, +18%), and Adults 18-34 (450,000, +20%).  Also, it ranked among the top 5 programs of the evening for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; top 10 for Total Viewers 2+.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Unvision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 735,000 Adults 18-49, and 286,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 8 p.m., the season premiere of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 3.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 793,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  Following “Latina” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.9 Million, +28%), Adults 18-49 (1.4 Million, +57%), Adults 18-34 (645,000, +62%).

 

  • At 8 p.m., the finale week of Univision’s novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her, I’m Eva) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49. 

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #2 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the hour (M-F).  “Amores Verdaderos” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (5.2 Million, +14%),  Adults 18-49 (2.8 Million, +15%), and Adults 18-34 (1.4 Million, +20%).

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) helped Univision rank as the #2 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  “Amor Bravio” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.2 Million, +12%),  Adults 18-49 (2.2 Million, +15%), and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million, +18%).
