FOX SPORTS MEDIA GROUP TO TELEVISE CONCACAF GOLD CUP
FOX Sports Airs Three Games Live Including Championship
All Games Televised on FOX Soccer
Los Angeles – In an unprecedented commitment to this region’s most prestigious biennial soccer competition, FOX Sports Media Group, for the first time ever, is televising all 25 matches of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer. FOX Soccer is slated to provide most of the coverage, but in another first, FOX Sports is broadcasting a live match from the group stage, quarterfinal round should the U.S. advance, along with the final on Sunday, July 28 (3:30 PM ET) from historic Soldier Field in Chicago. FSMG coverage begins on Sunday, July 7 with a live doubleheader on FOX Soccer from the venerable Rose Bowl in Pasadena. A complete telecast schedule is forthcoming.

The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup features the exciting talent and rivalries of the 12 participating nations from North America (Canada, Mexico, United States), Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama) and the Caribbean (Cuba, Haiti, Martinique, Trinidad and Tobago). The United States looks to avenge its 4-2 loss in the 2011 Gold Cup Final against six-time Gold Cup Champion Mexico, which still remains the most-watched telecast in FOX Soccer history with 1.1 million viewers.
