    FOX aired Idol on Tuesday last week and it did well.
    FOX aired Hell’s Kitchen this week for 2 hours and it did well.

    When NBC’s VOICE returns, I expect FOX to air IDOL up against it for at least the first week. Payback for what NBC did early on this season to X FACTOR.

    Andrea: “Something I’m also noticing: DST seems not to have an effect on new shows this week. Wondering why?”

    Too soon. It’s only been three days. Also the weather still not that great. Give it a couple weeks into April for people’s habits to change from winter.

    The 8:30 Off Their Rockers was a clips show, wasn’t it? So, not technically a fresh episode.

  • battywatchy

    The second ep of OTR was a Best Of – aka rerun. My granny (80+) does not appreciate reruns, lol.

    @Fred

    What exactly would you expect from extra tuesday airing since finals have already started.

  • michael

    CBS should move The Good Wife back to Tuesdays at 10.

  • Holly

    @michael,

    CBS should move The Good Wife back to Tuesdays at 10.

    If CBS wanted bad ratings on Tuesdays, they’d just keep Vegas.

    And…cue the rimshot!

    Has there ever been a season where at least one new drama didn’t achieve a 3.0 or higher average? I turn to the site ratings experts for the answer.

    Is there any new drama that will finish this season with an average of 3.0 or higher? I think the networks overall have been putting out some really good, unique, creative product in the drama dept (CBS cop procedurals…not so much) but it looks like the zombies are eating them alive, so to speak.

    Golden Boy looking more brass plated boy. It’s toast. The new drama curse continues (The Following being the only exception…so far, along with an arguably very marginal performance from Elementary which did not benefit from the cushy post Super Bowl airing).

    @NBCfan

    These types of shows are so padded. I’m sue they could figure out a way.

    No, but then there’s plenty of seasons recently where at least one new drama didn’t achive an arbitrary ratings level because of continued viewer fragmentation.

    The new drama curse continues

    NBC’s two new fall dramas are their top two dramas this season, with Revolution being one of the top dramas overall. The Following is FOX’s top drama and one of the highest rated overall. Elementary is a decent performer for CBS. Scandal, which had a very short first season, has turned out to be a hit in its first full season for ABC.

    I think new dramas this season have been far more successful than new sitcoms have been.

    Please correct the tittle, Hell’s Kitchen down!

  • karin

    and the Following is a silly soap,writers ,acting?

  • karin

    is this site a Fox’s one?

    “Hell’s Kitchen was also broken down by hour in the finals.”

    It had 2.2 for two hours in the overnights and 2.1 and 2.3 for each hour in the finals.

    Do you normally not read articles before commenting on them?

    Bye bye the new normal! Repeat or not its crap amd so r the ratings! Body of proof gone as well. Abc is screwed. And they used to be a great network! To many low rated shows and canceled shows. Dixie beat beast in viewers!:)repeat or not still cool to see:)

  • MichaelChickless

    I guess the second Betty White wasn’t new after all. I don’t watch it, so I didn’t know other than what I saw in the TV Guide.

    @karin

    What and what? Is English your third language?

    I think you add Chicago fire right? Its keeper not only for nbc but for 10 pm network reality at all. The same with CW and arrow.

    So we have in demo av:
    1 Revolution
    2 The following
    3 Scandal
    4 Elemntary
    5 Chicago fire
    6 Arrow

    Until almost all comedies flop and bomp really hard. I mean this season top new shows are all dramas.

  • Tony ^_^

    “Hell’s Kitchen” isn’t completely dead. Last summer it went up as the season progressed so that might happen again.

    Either way, “New Girl” now has a 2.0+ lead-in. :D

  • Cassie

    I’m starting to think HoD and B&TB are a good match.
