Where are the useful idiots today. I can’t wait to see how they spin Ed Schultz’s demotion.

WEEKLY RATINGS: FOX NEWS HUMILIATES COMPETITION

In all of cable — all 94 ad-supported cable channels measured by Nielsen, Fox News placed fourth in primetime. By comparison, MSNBC placed 24th, HLN was 29th, and CNN hit 33rd.

    Current TV was dead last.

    I REST MY CASE…..AGAIN.

  • UpAndOver

MSNBC knocks Ed Schultz from prime time….

  • Pundit

How do I know Fox News is kicking behinds? No lefty trolls

  • James

Msnbc sure gotta boost with the 47 percent camera man good numbers for ed and rachel..if ezra klein is takin over the 8pmslot i think its gonna fail.maybe they bring back olberman

  • SnapTie

@ James: Prison’s channel Sat and Sun host Chris Hayes is filling the slot

  • Robbie

I wonder if the increase in HLN’s numbers are from the Pope selection or from the Jodi Arias trial? I wish Ed Schultz much luck in his new endeavor!

  • Dennis

Fox News is really going down the tubes
Nursing homes must be playing cards an hour later since daylight savings

    HLN is kicking butt

  • Ralph Hahn

Chris Matthews beaten by CNN at 5 & 7pm.

Catholics sure do love Fox News. Superb coverage by Shep Smith. Very respectful and reverential and the boy from Mississippi isn’t even Catholic.

From the Fair & Balanced Journalists at Fox News.

  • Ralph Hahn

@Dennis: You must be ussr666’s brother. Distorted lies. How many different ways can you guys dump on NUMBER ONE? With TWICE the number of people tuned in at 9PM, Maddow had only a 1,000 edge over Hannity? Fox beat MSDNC in the demo in every other time period and by a significant margin in most cases.

There are lies…and there are damned lies.

@James: Let me know what you’re smoking. I may want to escape from reality for a little bit later on. lol

  • TheBoss1

@Ralph … come on, buddy. You know every time there is a big breaking news story (in this case a new pope) CNN does quite well. No surprise there, so don’t try to make it out to be more than it is.

HLN is doing great due to that trial (that I am not watching).

Good to see Ed get good ratings (as he interviewed a true American hero) as Ed leaves the 8:00 hour. While I love Chris Hayes, I’m not sure how well he’ll due in prime time. Americans don’t want to think too much after a long days work (hence the good ratings for O’Reilly) and Chris might be too smart for prime time.

  • Ratboy

Be vewy vewy careful the Dung Beetle is newr by!!

  • Ratboy

Ezra did not get Ed’s gig, Chris Hayes did. Either way I don’t think ORielly is worried!

  • Joe

    @Ralph hahn

Anyone who thinks Fox news is fair and balanced is an extreme conservative and can’t be taken seriously. You’re really not bright at all. you should stop embarrassing yourself. Every non extreme person in the country knows that Fox is for conservatives and MSNBC is for liberals.

I’m glad Chris Hayes got the job. I didn’t think Ed was strong enough for a prime time slot. Eventually Lawrence will be replaced too. They’re going for younger people like Rachel.

As for the dumb conservatives on here. If Fox News keeps winning the ratings, it’s fine with me. As long as the Democrats keep winning the election. You people realize that only a small part of the country watches these news networks? Because if everyone loves Fox, then Republicans would win the elections. I know you’re angry that you lost another election but you’re embarrassing yourselves. Especially Ralph. You’re so pathetic it’s laughable lol.

  • Ralph Hahn

@Boss1: HEY! Where have you been buddy? Long time, long time. Long gone are the days of people with differing opinions treating each other with respect.

As for CNN’s usual higher numbers for big news events, the last few BIG stories find FOX on top, not CNN. I just pointed out where CNN beat MSNBC in the demo and in both cases it was Tingles who failed to crack the Top Two.

Anyway, man, good to have you back.

  • Sj

Hi everyone….some new folks on. Good to see some different folks as well as the regular folks. Hope everyone is having a great day!

  • Mike W

    Ratboy

I no longer respond to anything that your buddy (sarcasm intended) posts.

In the past I tried to debate him on several economic points but he is incapable of defending his position. His usual response is “you don’t understand” or “I’ve already answered”. After that he disappears for awhile never to complete the discussion.

I’ve also noticed that on occasion he actually posts something that makes sense. The problem with these posts is that the verbiage, spelling, and syntax do not match the majority of his postings. This leads me to believe that he is very good at cutting and pasting from other sources.

  • Hoppy

    @Dennis,

Glad to see you found out how to turn off the caps lock.

  • Doug

Whoa…Robin Meade beat Fox & Friends in the demo?

  • Dennis

Could all Fox news viewers with an IQ over 90 please e-mail Fox and friends
    They are doing a special.

Oh wait make it 80 we need at least 2
