lol
that’s all
Cause that’s all we need, more singing competition!!!
I would assume their gonna do the Holiday version like Season 1 and 2
NBC has announced that The Sing Off will air during the holiday season like seasons 1 and 2.
Not a bad move. A good move actually.
As long as it is holidays, or summer I guess.
I was going to say something along the lines “NBC has sunk to a new level of desperation,” but if it is indeed airing during the holidays, this is actually a smart move. It went from 2.6′s to 1.6′s airing during the fall, so hopefully that didn’t ruin its holiday filler appeal.
NBC! What Minute to win it! I watch Spanish spoken version on Mundofox! Loving the show such much, I willing sacrifice not knowing Spanish watch Mundofox version so well! Renew Minute to win! Please!
Plus they have The Winner Is, also hosted by Nick Lachey, supposedly coming this summer.
Am I the only one psyched for this?
It’s the best singing competition on TV.
They should only let the best 10 teams compete though, because the likes of Fannin Family and Kinfolk 9 stink and the show got worse because of it.
Nicole, Former Sing off and X Factor Judge! Come back to Sing Off! Job is opening!
At least this show focuses on talent, versus crap like X-Factor and American Idol.
And the onslaught of singing comps continues–Burn Baby Burn
Cheesy or not, it got better ratings than some shows currently on NBC. SMASH comes to mind and TSO doesn’t cost $4 million an ep. Yes, it’s another singing show; however, it is acapella groups and something completely different from the others. What they are expected to do each week is quite difficult. I may be wrong, but I don’t think it dropped much lower than 1.5 on original eps. It’s sad that I’m citing that as a PLUS, but such is the nature of things on NBC.
I’m excited The Sing Off is returning to its holiday roots. Seasons 1&2 felt like more of a special event – which is perfect for The Sing Off’s format. Season 3 droned on for forever.
Sure it is another singing competition, but it is quality, inexpensive television and gives NBC some original programming during the winter hiatus.
@tvlog
She can’t, she’s a judge on X Factor UK now
I thought it was cancelled, but I guess they changed their minds!
@CrimTV
She *may* be able to come back in time for The Sing Off, if it airs in late-December, as X Factor UK ends on the first Sunday of December.
This could possibly be used for January before The Olympics. Not a bad idea. It was so dumb when they moved it to the regular season last fall.
Yay if they do it for winter run it will be great, this is my second fav reality show
@tvlog
GSN is creating a new version of Minute to Win It.
