It looks like the Veronica Mars Kickstarter project that began just yesterday has been a rousing success.  Could a Chuck movie now be a possibility? Star Zachary Levi has apparently been watching the Veronica Mars Kickstarter saga unfold and sent out this cryptic tweet yesterday....

So would you fund a Chuck movie? Is it even a viable idea? Cast your vote below and tell us what other canceled TV shows you would plunk $10 down to see resurrected on the big screen in the comments!

Angel, Charmed, friends, dark angel, ghost whisperer, firefly 2, alias, and just thinking forward Nikita. Veronica Mars would be on the list but that’s happening! One of my list. A few more to go.

might have to see if all these community fans that say 6 seasons and a movie are willing to put out their wallet to make it happen

Defiantly Heroes. Touch won’t last much longer. What else was a good show that got canceled too soon. Dark Angel, Tru Calling, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Secret Circle, Alphas, Jericho, Firefly, My So Called Life, *breathes* A proper ending to Mass Effect 3, V, Caprica, Point Pleasant, Kyle XY, Pushing. Basically everything from Bryan Fuller.

I have serious doubts about the writing quality for a Chuck movie. I have no such doubts about a Veronica Mars movie. I would back a Pushing Daisies movie in a heartbeat. I would back a Terriers movie as well. But a Chuck movie?

As for Fringe. No. They had a chance to tie up loose ends. They did that very badly. And they put in an ending that insults the intelligence of the audience. And to reward them for that makes no sense to me.

“Just fyi, a new Firefly movie or revival would not work because Fox won’t release the rights.”

    Wasn’t “Serenity” made by Universal?

I now have hope they may finally take that Star Trek show from the 60s and finally make a movie of it.

  • Olka

Fringe movie would be great :).

  • Oliver

I didn’t realise Pushing Daisies was Warner. I bet that’s next.

I’d pay for a Stargate Atlantis movie. Farscape and Firefly again too. But mostly Stargate – and a lot more than $10.

    Ugly Betty! :)

I’d prefer more episodes of series rather than and 90 minute movie. Glad VM did it. Would love to see certain shows obtain funding to show Netflix, Hulu, Amazon that there is interest in addition episodes. Even 10 episode seasons or whatever would be cool for some of these series. The model has definitely changed because of streaming, more so than DVDs ever did for TV series.

This Veronica Mars win is plotted by somebody. I’m sure. 100%.

What about a Stargate Movie? There are two somewhere in a deep freece at MGM HQ

  • Penny

Ugly Betty or Pushing Daisies, the latter was such a good show and the last episode was so rushed. Fingers crossed something happens.

The shows I would fund that I believe would also make the studio lots of money would be

    1. Chuck
    2. Firefly
    3. Jeremiah
    4. Heroes
    5. 24
    6. The unit
    7. Stargate
    8. X-files
    9. Leverage
    10. Kyle xy

RINGER The Movie-Bridget vs Siobhan-i would LOVE to see this movie.

  • Achille

The Event ended it’s first and final season with a dying planet that was transported next our moon. The Event needs a movie or at least another season. V is another i’d like to see on the big screen.

I liked Zach Levi, but he just went down to pathetic levels in my eyes.
