   Wow!!! Just wow…at how pathetic MSNBC is. Can Sharpton adn Matthews go any lower? They are seeing what happened to old Eddy. He has been demoted…could they be next?

   Whatever will HLN do when Jodi Arias is sent to prison??? Not sure when Trayvon Martin case starts or if it will.

   Ed didn’t get a bounce after his “stunt” with the Romney tape. No one is listening to the liberals anymore…Which is a good thing.

   msnbc is being abandoned a lot by it’s regular viewers because of changes being made in programing since Comcast took complete control of the network. After the adjustments, which will take awhile, we will see if the changes pay off. I don’t think they are going to. They are going for younger viewers, so older viewers are abandoning them. Don’t think they should have done that as rapidly as they have. Comcast took complete control about a month ago and they have declined ever since. We shall see. It’s taken CNN a long time to recover since they did the same thing. I don’t think they have ever recovered. The Arias murder trial is on HLN/CNN most of the time right now. Just my opinion. Hope everyone is having a great day! Very warm here in KY and in the 70′s.

    WaPo: Man Behind ’47 Percent’ Video a Partisan Democrat, Contrary to Claim on ‘Ed Show’

    Scott Prouty is the man behind the now infamous “47 percent” video that the media hyped to bring down Mitt Romney’s presidential bid. It’s unbearably stale news at this point, but MSNBC’s Ed Schultz found a fresh hook for resurrecting it recently on his soon-to-be-defunct weeknight program. Prouty insisted that Romney’s invitation to speak at CPAC prompted him to come out of hiding and in the Schultz interview, he insisted he was not really that political a guy when he tended bar at a Romney fundraiser last year, when he surreptitiously recorded the video.

    But Schultz, who owns a Canadian fishing lodge, apparently let Prouty on air to tell a fish tale. Today’s Washington Post highlighted information in Prouty’s background that seems to offer another explanation for why Prouty never came out in the open during the campaign, including evidence from social media postings that he is a committed liberal Democrat.

    Among other things, The Post’s Jerry Markon and Krissah Thompson reported how “court records show that Internal Revenue Service in 2006 secured a more that $15,000 federal tax lien against Prouty for unpaid taxes from 2000 and 2002. It was unclear whether Prouty has repaid the money.”

    Furthermore, when he was employed as a bartender by the Gulfstream Park Racing Association, which – as the post notes – runs horse-racing casinos – Prouty filed a sexual harassment lawsuit alleging that female employees were promoted over him since they had “sexual relations with management.” The case was dismissed, and Prouty was let go.

    Additionally, while NBC has touted Prouty as an “independent” with an “open mind,” when Ed Schultz interviewed him, he was joined by Charles Kernaghan, an international labor rights activists and director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, “who has become a friend,” according to the Post.

    Kernaghan released a report on September 27, 2012 called “Betting Against American Workers,” which used Prouty’s video to smear Romney by linking him to China’s labor laws. Prouty then contacted Kernaghan, and the two became friends.

    Additionally, Markon and Thompson note that Prouty was actually registered as a Democrat in Florida and that he has social media messages reflecting strong liberal leanings:

    Yet voter-registration records show that Prouty registered as a Democrat in 2002, and election officials said he has maintained that party affiliation. His former Twitter account is full of populist and political messages, including several criticizing Romney or former GOP vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan and another blasting National Rifle Association chief executive Wayne LaPierre as “an evil man.” Prouty attended Obama’s second inauguration and also told MSNBC’s Ed Schultz he was “proud to call him my president.”

    In light of all this, did Big Eddie’s producers and fact-checkers think to dig a bit deeper into the story, or was Prouty’s version of things too good to check? One might be tempted to say Schultz and company are not ready for prime time. Given the network’s latest move to exile Schultz to a weekend slot, maybe even the network would agree

    Is it just me, or since Ed being fired, are the rest of the hosts being a whole lot more mellow than usual? lol I think they’ve all been told that MSNBC doesn’t mind being a DNC shill, but they don’t want crazy hosts any longer…

    Ed had a history of stepping over the crazy line…very close to entering the Fox News crazy territory. He was reprimanded for it in the past. On Fox News, you get promoted for doing the things he did in the past. However, NBC doesn’t go for that when it comes to News…neither does CNN. Even if it means losing ratings, those stations are willing to cancel shows like Olbermann, Beck, and Dobbs.

    Please friend and I call you a friend, I just adored Scott and, in my opinion, he’s an American hero. Kind, thoughtful, sincere, a man of conscience, intelligent and best of all, an advocate for the people: Old,poor,young, vet’s,soldiers, min. wage workers, well, the 99 percent. If Scott’s dream is to be an attorney, then, by golly, he should get a little help from his friends, just the way the oil companies get welfare from the American taxpayer. Mitt treated the working staff like crap, when they were doing their jobs efficiently. Guess that was Mitt’s way to show those workers how to jump when Mr. 500 mill.$ wonder snapped his fingers. Now, don’t correct me: I know Mitt fesses up to two hundred fifty mill, but it’s far, far more than that…Just hidden outside of the country or in trusts. Scott said Mitt was ‘dangerous’ and he wanted to show Americans how he was talking out of two sides of his mouth. I am going to use my fave word: Mitt is a total CREEP and I’m happy he’s back where he belongs and that is, no where near my chair in the W House, where the damage he would have caused to the working stiff would have been monumental…His prototype? Simple, his factory that he adores in China with the barbed wire, girls in their twenties working fourteen hours, seven days a week, one bathroom for 12 girls, girls sleeping in bunks, one on top of another; guards in towers around Mitt’s factory; a Mitt dream come true and he’d bring factories here…see above. Mitt? Karl? Koch Bros? Citizens United, All of your cheating, thwarting voting, billions did not put Mr. Wonderful in the W House and for that, I’m eternally grateful. BBL

    This just in–scientists say never mind on tvbtn liberal nutbags stopping their posts because temp of planet has been stagnant for 16 years. They do say the annoying factor of tvbtn would decrease by 100% if these posts stop.

    Another great job by MSNBC,even with Fox in the demo and fox still pulling all the retirement home audience–over 2/3 of their audience is over 65…
