    In Late November

*Astronomers gearing up for possible ‘comet of the century’

Astronomers are already getting set for the arrival of Comet ISON, which may become one of the brightest comets ever seen when it cruises through the inner solar system this fall.

ISON is a sungrazing comet, meaning its long, looping path through space takes it extremely close to our star. Indeed, ISON is forecast to zoom just 680,000 miles above the solar surface on its closest approach, which will take place on Nov. 28.

Comet ISON could put on a spectacular show around this time, experts say, potentially glowing so brightly that it’s visible in the daytime sky. (The comet poses no impact threat to Earth.)

At night it will be brighter than the full moon…

(If it does hit us, I’m blaming Ratboy)

I sure wish Mark Levin would quit being so wishy washy and tell us how he REALLY thinks!!!

Mark Levin Rants Against ‘Marble-Mouthed Buffoon’ Joe Scarborough And ‘That Ditz’ Mika Brzezinski

During his radio show Friday evening, Mark Levin spent the first hour ranting against Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough as being a “rambling, marble-mouthed buffoon” after the MSNBC host attacked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for his anti-gun control positions.

Levin repeatedly mocked Scarborough, calling him “Morning Schmo” and mimicking what he believes is the MSNBC host’s “stuttering problem” by repeatedly playing the same stutter clip.

“Has this jerk said anything intelligent or intelligible in five minutes?” Levin said after playing several snippets of Scarborough’s Friday morning take on Sen. Cruz’s fight against Sen. Dianne Feinstein‘s gun control efforts.

Scarborough accused Cruz of putting forward a “willfully ignorant statement about [Feinstein’s gun control] bill violating the Second Amendment.” The MSNBC host asked who Cruz is even “playing for.”

“Who are you playing for, you big jerk?” Levin asked before going into a rant against Scarborough and his entire career:

“Is this what it takes to get a paycheck these days? You had to resign the House for some reason. You couldn’t make it in talk radio for obvious reasons. They wouldn’t take you over at Fox, which was good judgment. You wind up on the eighth-tier cable station, MSLSD, with all the other schmucks. Didn’t take much to buy you off, did it pal? You haven’t said a damn thing that’s sensible. You haven’t told anybody what the Supreme Court case is. You haven’t told anybody what the Supreme Court held. You haven’t discussed at all how the Second Amendment came to be. You’re just a rambling, marble-mouthed buffoon with that ditz sitting next to you there. ‘Tell ‘em Joe, tell ‘em Joe. Tell ‘em.’”

Levin later trashed Scarborough as being a “miscreant malcontent,” a “moron,” unqualified to “work the fryer at McDonald’s,” and part of a “whole conga line of freaks” on “MSLSD.”

Or how about……………..on my way to the grocery store with my food stamps I stopped by the phone store and bought the new IPhone and then I had to go to the unemployment office and pick up my check but first had to stop for phase 2 of my full body tattoo. So I cash my unemployment check and do you believe it? Cigarettes went up AGAIN so now the 2 cartons cost me 70 bucks a piece! Now I am pi$$ed cuz I cant buy the 30 pack of beer so I had to settle for 24!

dana – sadly I believe you are right on dems wanting weaker Americans. They want all minorities to be depended on them, so they can get they vote year after year.

It has worked on the single white mothers. 37% of white Americans are on welfare now.

I would like your opinion on working for welfare and Michigan’s new law that states if your children miss to much school you loss your welfare.

  • dana

Cathy:: Not only do i believe, unless disabled, in doing work for welfare but the left always brings up how the gvt during the great depression helped the economy with the Roosevelt New Deal, they fail to mention that the gvt created jobs for pay instead of just giving out the money. The only thing giving welfare money out without having to earn it breeds is laziness and dependancy and low self esteem. Always look and cause and effect and unintended consequences when judging gvt actions…in the case of making parents make sure their kids go to school there is no downside…your only incentivising parents to do their job and be parents….

  • Cathy

dana, thanks for answering. All of September and October people in Detroit were going nuts over linking welfare to school attendance. They were calling it racism. They quieted down in Nov when Detroit Public School had the best attendance record in 15 years. School funding is linked to attendance and Detroit got over $30,000 more in school funding from the state.

Media Condemn Fox News For Airing 16-Year-Old Rape Victim’s Name, But Neglect That CNN And MSNBC Did It Too

Raw Story published a piece earlier this afternoon that has set off an Internet furor: Fox News aired the uncensored name of the 16-year-old Steubenville, Ohio, rape victim during its broadcast this morning. Many other outlets picked up on the story, including Huffington Post, Jezebel, New York magazine, and AlterNet. But all the reporting outlets seemed to have initially missed one key part of the story: CNN, MSNBC, and a CBS local affiliate all also took part in airing the rape victim’s name. And they did it before Fox ever did.

  • dana

Cathy:: There you go!! Its always racist when you ask a minority to work for their bread, but never racist to ask a white to…I am tired of society yelling racist everytime it sets standards of behavior and common sense approaches…example:: stop and frisk they say is racist because more blacks are stopped than whites…duh, 85% of violence comes from blacks…as a black parent, i dont give a darn about anything it takes to keep my kids safe from danger, especially when black on black crime is so high…it would be racist not to protect blacks from blacks just because it involves blacks….

  • Cathy

dana; I judge people more by how their dress. When it comes to taking a seat on the bus next to a white boy with a hoodie covering his head and baggy jean or a black boy in a sweater and tan pants, I’m picking the cleanly dressed boy.

  • dana

Cathy:: And…it is not racist not wanting to sit next to a black person dressed in a threatening manner…thats what god gave us inate antennas for…

  • Ratboy

    @ Cathy and dana
I would sit on your laps!!!! :)

  • dana

Ratboy:: I usually travel with my own designated lap sitter…but i will give you a chocolate cookie!!
