    POI didn’t fall. Great

    @Patrick Ausgewahlt

You’re assuming they have a choice. Chances are they’re contractually tied to air lower-rated games to get higher-rated ones.

Next week March Madness will perform much worse than CBS repeats, but they’re forced to take the low-rated games to get the high-rated ones.

  • Trevor

So glad The Big Bang Theory went up .3!!

  • Billy

Without the preemptions TBBT would have almost certainly been over a 5.0 again. CBS’s weekly ratings will be hurting the next two weeks without this Thursday lineup.

  • kbmv

Last night’s episode of TBBT was great! A complete turnaround from the horrible episode last week.

  • Mitch

“Is that a series low for Greys?”

Yeah :-( it’s previous series low was 2.8.

  • Dude

yay for community, still pretty low though.

  • Mon

Go TBBT! Looks like a lot of people who couldn’t watch it live caught the episode within the night. It’s is up versus the first post-DST episode last year March 31.

    The Big Bang Theory 4.7/15
    Rules of Engagement 2.7/8
    Person of Interest 3.3/9
    The Mentalist 2.7/8

These 8:00 adjustments make me wonder if the daylight savings impact wasn’t really all that much and it was mostly the preemptions.

Ok we can say that NCIS will be again #1 broadcast drama of the season.

POI and Greys will be #2 and #3 dramas.

But NCIS and Greys are 10 seasons old and aging(droping) POI is in season 2(up) and season 3 will hit its prime. With big syndication deal should get more promotion for seasons 4-5 on cable channel like usa tnt ot fx.

ps CBS really need so show more respect to POI.

  • David Howell

I’m guessing the basketball managed low 3s in local markets given that Men and POI didn’t adjust, TBBT adjusted up big, and Elementary adjusted down. Which, over the whole night, is likely a gain for affiliates if only because of the young male skew and DVR-repellent nature of college hoops.

I don’t know what those affiliates do with the Thursday lineup though.

  • michael

I think its time for POI to go up .1 pts each week :)

  • Mon

    I meant March 29.

  • s0303

let’s all take a moment to celebrate the fact that community tied with the cw and did worse than a shark tank repeat :)

  • MichaelChickless

    POI FTW!

Still good numbers for Elementary, and slightly less disastrous for Community.

  • Ram510

I figured Community would adjust up. It’s sad that Community has so many fans but don’t consistently watch live. I blame the Hipsters and their addiction to streaming online.

  • NBC Fan

Still a series low for Idol.

“Ok we can say that NCIS will be again #1 broadcast drama of the season.”

Yes; we can say that NCIS will be the #1 TELEVISION PROGRAM of the season, the first #1 in its TEN-YEAR history.

  • Andrea

I’m wondering if CBS’s Tuesday 10pm slot could be fixed by putting POI there? Does this show have the ability to stand on its own?

Thursdays at 9pm should be a launching pad spot.

    @ Mon

    YAY Rules of Engagement!!!
