Holy smokes…a TWO in the demo for FBN during primetime? Can things literally get any worse over there??
Rachel chokes!
Just to start things off with a bang! (by the way, this is from left leaning Mediaite)
MSNBC Coverage Almost Entirely Opinionated, While Fox News Includes More Factual Reporting, Study Says
True to its motto, MSNBC has been leaning forward. To the point that its opinionated programming far outweighs its “factual reporting,” according to a new Pew study. While Fox News, too, had more opinionated programming, the network had a much smaller discrepancy between opinion and straight reporting.
The study — which came as part of Pew Research Center’s annual “State of the Media” report — states that opinionated programming comprised 85 percent of MSNBC’s airtime (versus 15 percent of “factual reporting”). Meanwhile, Fox News had opinion 55 percent of the time, with 45 percent straight news.
Of the three cable networks, CNN was the only one where reporting dominated commentary, with 54 percent straight coverage. Since 2007, the study notes that while the networks used to rely “on significantly distinct formats five years ago, the three rivals now look strikingly similar.”
MEMO TO MODERATORS: Perhaps, to avoid confusion with some, HLN’s murder trial coverage could be noted instead of the regular prime-time programs.
Ted Cruz is an elite Ivy Leaguer who wasn’t born in the USA and whose father was a communist that fought for Fidel Castro.
Gee, if Rachel Maddow stood on her head like Jodi Arias, she’ll get better ratings.
@Ratboy: Could that mean that 85% of MSDNC viewers have no interest in the network’s actual news coverage? Goes to believabilty, Your Honor!
PEW Research Center also found that the average viewership for Primetime was:
Cable News = 3.3 million
Broadcast News = 22.1 million
Ouch!!! That’s gonna leave a mark!

Tells you that MSNBC watchers don’t have a friggin clue as to what is really going on that is for sure!
Poor gay Anderson Cooper. Pull the plug!!
Fox News is so far ahead over the over cable “news” nets, ol’ Doug has to pick on FBN, still an upstart network with little cable clearance, because there’s no way that he can find fault with FBN’s parent (FNC).
What’s next, the rehashing of Fox today vs. yesterday>
As I always say: “Figures don’t lie…but liars figure.”
Which means even fewer people are watching MSNBC then prime time
HLN beats Morning Joe in the demo……..Mika and Joe are true bottom feeders.
Mark 2 is so retar-ed, he STILL can’t see the forest for the trees that cable & network news is apples & oranges.
again we are back at the produce counter…………….APPLES RED, ORANGES ORANGE!
so they combine cnn/hln at the end, but show them separately during their daily number.
last i heard 97.497 (cnbc)is a lower number than 97.981 (fox), so why are they ranked below them at the bottom?
Everyone knows MSNBC is very opinionated. But they use facts to support their liberal views. Fox uses lies to support their conservative views.
Ralph still think Romney won the election everyone. I guess if Fox dominates the ratings it means the Republicans will win the elections. Oh wait??? Wups.
And if Fox means so little, why does the White House fixate on them like moths to a bug zapper?
THAT JUST HAPPENED!

It’s not where you start out, it’s where you end up.
