Everyone this is where we are heading.

    Back to the Ford plant

The leaders decided to call off the march at that point, and began an orderly retreat. Harry Bennett, head of Ford security, drove up in a car, opened a window, and fired a pistol into the crowd Immediately, the car was pelted with rocks, and Bennett was injured. He then got out of the car, and continued firing at the retreating marchers. Dearborn police and Ford security men then opened fire on the retreating marchers with machine guns. Joe Bussell, 16 years old, was killed, and dozens more were wounded. Bennett was hospitalized

  • Doug Z

All of the seriously wounded marchers were arrested, and many were chained to their hospital beds.No law enforcement or Ford security officers were arrested, although all reliable reports showed that they were responsible for all of the gunfire. The New York Times reported that “Dearborn streets were stained with blood, streets were littered with broken glass and the wreckage of bullet-riddled automobiles, and nearly every window in the Ford plant’s employment building had been broken

I was just trying to show how the generation are loosing ground. We can fix it. With product, not serve. . Everyone can not be selling something. someone has to make it

But Doug, my niece IS gaining ground and so can other youn people if they would grab on to a work ethic!

I lost ground when I went into the working world too! that is what happens unless you have a silver spoon in your mouth. Walmart has manager positions making 6 figures and some are filled by people that started on the cash register. My son works for a restaurant chain that has managers that started as kitchen help. My son took a step back years ago due to some stupid decisions on his part and had to go to work at a Burger king and ended up as the manager of a large volume store in Ohio (Burger King paid for his relocation too) and now is the manager with a different company after being recruited by a head hunter.

This generation loses more ground due to lack of interest than they do because of job conditions!!!

We need every body to be able to get the dream./ That is why we can not balance the budget. You know I am a neo-com. But it is not revenue problem and to many people on welfare because everybody is not able to get a good job. It is to easy in theory anyway to fix. But no body is talking about it. Production of product. Called manufacturing. Not because Americans are lazy.

It should be easier than old days with woman working. My mom worked and my parent did great.

It is to easy to fix.America can produce

We can not Divide and separate.

  • Ratboy

Doug, I don’t disagree with the manufacturing part but thanks to the unions, we priced ourselves out of the market!! Now to get it back will be twice as hard!

  • Doug Z

    Rat you are old LOL

    Rat you are old LOL

I told you so!!!! Hell I got sock older than a lot of the loons around here!

But you know what? I have a lot but I still get up at 5:30 every morning, and in my office with shirt and tie no later than 8 every morning, don’t leave until 5:30 every afternoon, and an in the office at least a couple weekends a month! No body makes me do it but my work ethic requires it!

the union worker makes less than Rush tells you. If you are 63 or older at and Auto plant you make very good. Around $50,000. If you are younger you we make less. I know these people. they are Rednecks and would be republican < But they have lied about them. I have worked at their plant, construction.

The old people that are gone made more and have the big retirement rush tells you about. My friends will have 40 years their and the retirement will be 1500. a month.

We would loose any way because we can not pay $10 a day like Apple. We can not compete at any price.

I think you should look up the Twinkies company and see about bu out and buy out capitalist. that is the real problem there. Rush and wall street will not tell you that.

the problem today is nobaody tell the truth.

  • Doug Z

this is one generation that took from the young. It is not the union today. It is the old people that did not care. the did not pay SS or pensions. Now they think they should get them.

why should we get SS we did not pay for it. You think the union should not, than we should not . The Stock holders From 1975- today and bond holders got theirs. the company did not save for it.

    It is a bad situation

I am 56 , so you know I am not retied . I need to stay off here and work more. My projects are not getting done
