Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

TBBT was a repeat
Bones
That’s great for Hart of Dixie!
HART OF DIXIE! ftw…..
@ Oliver
TBBT was new this week: “The Closet Reconfiguration”
SAVE BODY OF PROOF! Like the official save body of proof facebook page.
This post covers February 25-March 3. The TBBT episode that aired on Thursday February 28th was a repeat of “The Parking Spot Escalation”.
I think you guys speak volumes about the TBBT fanbase!
Arrow did not increase?
The Mentalist did better than its average this year. Good for it!
I want the final Viewership for The Carrie Diaries please!
I’m sure Arrow increased, just not enough to make the reported shows.
When you look at TM’s DVR ratings this season, it’s quite obvious that there’s still an audience for the show, an audience that just doesn’t watch the show in its current timeslot. Sundays at 10:00 PM is just as bad as it gets for CBS and any show that has the honor of being in that timeslot.
Hart of Dixie = Certain to be renewed!
I still love Modern Family.
omg look at nashville! that’s higher than how much it usually gains on DVR right? crazy to think that it’s getting almost as much through DVR than it is live.
No Nikita?
If you look at it, Wednesday at 9:00 is just brutal for competition. With the exception of NCIS I don’t think another CBS drama could do as well as Criminal Minds in that slot. I wouldnt move it, not for a minute. It has held its own against Lost, Private Practice, Glee in its heyday and now Modern Family and American Idol. I think it would be a mistake to try a new show there. POI may do as well but it would be a bad idea to move it away from Thursday at 9:00. It has a much better lead in and the viewship is much higher. POI has years to go so I would keep it there, it is one of the best spots on TV and it has proven it can hold its own with Grays Anatomy. I also think Modern Family is doing extremely well in that spot. Also, although most numbers are down many strong shows are holding there spots in the top 25 weekly lists.
I understand why 90210 was canceled, but how the hell is TCD still on the air (pending an obvious cancelation) when it’s ratings (and DVR increases) are that much similar to 90210? It’s ALSO in it’s first season. Seriously! TCD didn’t deserve that 8:00 time slot.
I’m guessing that Arrow had a 40% increase too and got 1.4 combined?
