Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    @petar ivanov: i agree..nbc should stick mostly with reality shows and dramas…their comedies are a joke (not in a good way)…the biggest loser is the highest rated show since the voice ended, apprentice is doing good (for nbc standards), and parenthood, svu, chicago fire, grimm are all doing well also…the only comedies doing okay is the office, which is ending, and parks and rec…they need to scale their comedies way back next year.

    BOBS BURGERS IS THE BEST SHOW ON SUNDAYS

    @ p Garcia

    Revenge really was always a soap though last night’s episode brought it to a whole new level. It faltered earlier this season but they seem to be pulling out all stops of late. Very interested to see where they go with Emily’s brother storyline. And Jack needs to know the truth about Emily.

    F*** YOU ABC! just, f*** you. thanks for killing your shows. the dumbest network in existence. and since you never learn your damn lesson, i can’t wait to see which buzzy, potential-filled shows you’ll ruin next season!

    also, the fact that they’ve shortened the promos for revenge that air after the episode to 20 seconds so that they can air 10-15 second promos for red widow also is just the epitome of idiotic. the fact that they’re still trying to save that show is just purely and completely laughable. but oh well. it’s the kind of stupidity that is typical for ABC.

  • Petar Ivanov

    @s0303
    Yep. We are on same page. And if Ready for love is 2.0+ in demo can switch to sunday next season 2 hours RforL 2 hours TA after footbal with TBL on Monday and new dramas for the fall on tuesday and new reality for the spring on tuesday. If Revolution stay big doubt that they will move it from Monday.

    ps For once – i think best way to go is 4-5 main leads. May be 6 max. Even for heavy serialized dramas more than 6 leads is too many these days. And yes once has too many leads this season. But still watch it.(i am on 5 episode) For example fringe stay with 3 main leads from the beggining to the end. Not see a way once not to go to at least 4 seasons.

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Bee
    Both shows – once and revenge are save for season 3. Keep calp its all right. With abc all new shows bomp so hard they ara almost sure for season 4 too.

  • Petar Ivanov

    Keep calm…sorry.

  • Bee

    peter,

    i know they’re safe. it’s just the numbers that are annoying. they should be doing much better. even if some people lost interest over quality, they would not have tanked so hard so fast.

  • DSC

    is there any doubt that OUAT is going to be back next year? no. 2.2 is low, but it still tied up for top programme of the hour, and the only show that bested it on the night overall was FG, by .1%. there’s no doubt it’s gonna be back next year, and, as we know, an year 3 will most likely guarantee an year 4, so, there’s plenty of time to grow, and make course corrections.

  • TVWatcher

    Family Guy 2.3 /6 … down but still won its time period

  • tchu

    Once Upon A Time’s ratings decline reminds me a lot of New Girl’s.

  • Glue

    I was genuinely bored throughout the ‘Revenge’ episode. People who say that the last few episodes were the best, let me tell you that they were not. Last episode was good. The one before it (Boat fire episode) was boring up until mid-second half of the episode. I watched the latest episode and it was okay. There was nothing special about the episode. Also, the whole falcon thing was weird. I mean, Nolan said that ‘Falcon’ was the one that sealed “Her fathers fate.” But so did the white haired man. Aiden killed him and it was done. Now this ‘falcon’ guy arose and that’s what they’ll do. Track him down > Talk with him for a few episodes (To waste time, of course) > Kill him (By accident because they weren’t supposed to but another useless character like Aiden will ruin their plan.)

    I’m not here to hate on Revenge because even though it’s quite boring at times, it’s still NICE to watch. I always rooted for ‘Revenge’ because I always thought that it was a manipulative, smart drama. It isn’t as good as it was in season 1, obviously but it’s still good-ish.

    People who say ‘Revenge’ sucks now are wrong. It doesn’t suck. It just tends to dwell on useless story lines as opposed to the useful story lines that they get rid of at a blink of an eye. There is a reason they’re dragging out useless story lines, we’ll just have to wait.

    Did this make any sense?

    Now, ‘Once Upon A Time’, They shouldn’t have broken the curse by the end of season 1. They should have dragged it out because the current story lines are stupid and they still get flashbacks so they could’ve dragged it out one more season. I know they needed this huge cliffhanger for the end of season one but they didn’t need one. People would’ve still stuck to the show with or without the broken curse.

    The best thing about both shows is the acting. It is so good. Kudos to the actor that plays Henry in OUaT. He’s good too.
