“LIVE with Kelly and Michael” National Ratings

Based on National ratings for the first week of March 2013, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” ranked as the No. 2 syndicated talk show in Households for the 7th week in a row, beating “Ellen” by 4% (2.7 rating vs. 2.6 rating), despite “LIVE’s” early time periods with lower overall TV usage levels. “LIVE” also finished the week as the No. 2 syndie talk show for the 2nd straight week in both Total Viewers (outdrawing “Ellen” by 3% — 3.565 million vs. 3.458 million) and Women 25-54 (tied with “Ellen” – 1.7 rating).


  • “LIVE” held 100% of its week-ago numbers in Homes, Women 18-34 (0.7 rating) and Women 25-54, while growing week to week in Total Viewers (3.565 million vs. 3.552 million) and Women 18-49 (1.3 rating vs. 1.2 rating). “LIVE” matched its 2nd-best Women 18-49 rating this season and tied its highest Women 25-54 number since November 2011 – since the week of 11/21/11.


  • “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” posted gains over the same week last year (w/o 3/5/12) in Homes (+4%), Total Viewers (+2%), Women 18-49 (+8%) and Women 25-54 (+13%).


On average for the 2012-13 season to date, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” stands as the No. 2 syndicated talker in Households (2.7 rating) and Total Viewers (3.463 million), topping “Ellen” (2.6 rating and 3.454 million) in both Nielsen measures.


  • “LIVE” is up through the same 26 weeks last season by 14% in Women 18-34, and retains 100% of its year-ago numbers in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 to match its strongest performance through this point in a season in 5 years – since the 2007-08 season. The year-to-year growth for “LIVE” is even more impressive considering its year-ago averages include the high rated weeks leading up to the departure of Regis into the weeks of Kelly as a solo host last season.
