Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    GoodBye Carrie…:(
    I’ll miss you… :(

  • JR35

Still not bad for DWTS, after the all-star-season debacle.

  • Hmm

Castle was only down .1 from it’s last new episode on 2/25, so thats good!

  • gerry

    DON’T ADJUST DOWN TCD!

  • PARIS

EVEN WITH MUCH BIGGER LEAD IN CASTLE ALMOST CAN’T BEAT HAWAII FIVE-0. LOL

  • Petar Ivanov

wow CBS Monday comedy line up BOMP hard. And The voice premiere next week.

    WHAT THE HELL HAPPEN????????????

  • Ellen

    AWFUL for CBS…

Decent night for NBC & TCD.

  • Sarah

Bones :( Hopefully, it’ll be adjusted up.

  • Matt

DWTS may be down from last spring, but that is MUCH better than what it did last fall 2012! It premiered with a 2.5 and 14 million in the fall! At least this much better, 6 tenths up and 2 million up.

However, last Spring on DWTS I believe premiered to a 3.5 and 18 million.

Castle beat H50 in demo?! and by 2.5 million.

    ABC WITH THE WIN!

  • Billy

DWTS will most likely take a bit hit next week when The Voice premieres.

  • Jeff (Canada)

This is the worst “new Monday” for CBS in years, I believe.

  • Marina

They could have wrapped up the story more in Deception, they must know with their ratings they have no hope of renewal

  • Petar Ivanov

The following crazy stable. Castle big winner. h5o in danger.

The following even with Mike and Molly and so close to 2BG is real SHOCK!

  • BigBrotherFan

That was an EXCELLENT episode of THE FOLLOWING…I never knew I could feel so bad for a couple of gay serial killers in MY LIFE!

Deception will sadly be adjusted down but it was a GOOD finale. Not groundbreaking but good. Although they did go the predictable route with the killer..It would be of been better and much stronger if they left it being…*SPOILER* sofia.

Castle beat 5-0 CASTLE FANS REJOICE, i guess……

  • Gina

@sarah I thought bones did okay, considering the competition. I think they will stay around this mark for the remainder of the season. 2.0-2.2

And the Voice is back next week as well.

  • SJ

Good for DWTS, solid for Castle.

    Whoa, CBS! What happened?!

The Following is getting so ridiculous. It’s no wonder it’s falling.

  • Billy

    @Matt

DWTS faced The Voice in its fall premiere. It did not yesterday. It will next week and drop big time.

  • CBSviewer

Mike & Molly got a 2.4 ???? Is that the Series low ?
The Show will be Renewed thanks to the syndication God but after its fourth Season things will be hard.

  • were123

What the hell happened to CBS? Not so long ago HIMYM and 2BG were well above the 3s, and now this?!

  • Babar Suhail

Wow, that’s a season low for HIMYM. :(
