Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

face it, Castle beat H50 AGAIN! lol

  • Samunto

So basically DWTS will be down to around 1.9/2.0 once The Voice is back! Expect to see series lows for The Following in about 7days!
    Good for Loser!

  • alex

is it a series low for 2bg ?

  • Billy

CBS got slaughtered by DWTS and DST. Just think what will happen when The Voice premieres next week.

  • s0303

good for the biggest loser…a 2.6 for nbc right now is a huge rating…plus on a network that only a couple shows have managed a 2.0 since the voice ended, tbl has never fallen below it…nbc should extend its episodes next season

happy to see dwts go up, i don’t watch it, but my mom loves this show and she would be devastated if it ever ended…

yikes, all the cbs comedies below a 2.0 now…

the following :( hopefully it will bounce back next week.

    H50 2.1 8.91/ 2.0 8.59

  • Dawn

@Paris, why is that a LOL? H50 normally has a much better lead in than Castle and doesn’t beat Castle, or if it does, not by much of a margin. Also, at least H50 has the same lead in; you never know what Castle is going to get. I don’t see your arguemnent.

  • Billy

Series lows for both 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly.

  • Mike

HIMYM should have ended this season, I bet the ratings will continue to slide, and then the final 4 episodes next season will skyrocket when things come to an end.

  • John A

Decent for Castle. Glad Deception went up. Dont watch it but every show deserves a bump for its Series Finale. Did it get a proper Ending?

  • Grey

“Castle” was down but it still won!! I’ll take it! :D

  • Gina

H50 had a solid episode. Castle may adjust down. I believe DWTS ran over. The Following was so good. Loving it more and more each week.

Looking forward to next week when the voice returns and also Revolution. Should get interesting. Or uglier…

  • Dodge Hickey

CBS sidelining originals for that long never helps, I didn’t even know their was original programing last night

  • Petar Ivanov

Dancing with the Stars is the winner of the night. Cheap and best what abc has these days. Way better than any of abc dramas and sitcoms without MF.

May be 2 cycles is not that bad idea after all.

  • Matt

    @Billy

sorry was not aware of that. but, cant fall too much – probably a 2.5 and 14 million guessing. This premiere is still good though, with that huge mess of the All-Stars edition.

  • Hubert R. Wentland

    @Babar
It’s not, it hit 2.8 twice during the fall.

  • cadburyeasteregg

I get the strong feeling that Deception was just a backdoor prequel for a John Larroquette drama. Next season it will probably be retooled and he’ll probably end up being the star. I can’t see NBC not doing it and giving him creative control.

  • John A

TCD probably adjusted down. Thats its usual trend. Not shocked The Following droping. Its starting to bore me.

  • TheFloppingFails

“The Flopping” continuing to fail. Wow put it out of its misery already!!
