Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I love Deception!!!!! I need another season :)

  • Ateofi

Agreed about H50 (grew up in total viewers over both preceeding shows) and CBS condition in general. The network has flag shows like NCIS, TBBT, TAHM and then POI and NCIS LA. Other shows have not become big hits, H50 was a solid performer and so were The Mentalist and Blue Bloods. New shows are mostly bust like: Made in Jersey, Partners, Golden Boy, Vegas and Elementary is underperforming. When the old shows are cancelled, CBS will be in deep trouble.

  • Skylar James

TCD will adjust down like always! Flop show. Cancel it CW!

DWTS returned well, but it’ll dive next week when The Voice returns.

CBS having a terrible night with season lows around…

  • Joe

@Bigbrotherfan they didn’t say anyone was definitely the killer, they purposely left it open in hopes for season 2, thats why they only showed a very short glimpse between **** and Vivian the night of her death. There was clearly A LOT more to learn. However i see room for season 2 but how could they possibly do this any longer than 2 seasons? Unless I’m missing something, either way i hope it gets renewed at the very least another 11 episode 2nd season midseason replacement to wrap everything up.

  • Samunto

I think whether Deception returns will depend on NBC’s new pilots. But it could return for another mid-season 13episode run.
Haven’t watched since episode 3 but watched last night’s finale – It was alright. It’s gotten twisted…..

  • Samunto

It’s very clear who the killer is. And it wasn’t the drunk mess who was passed out on Merlot & weed!

  • PurpleDrazi

I believe The Following was already renewed.

Everyone here who keeps saying it’s done will just have to wait until next March.

  • Michael1

I don’t believe that HIMYM has ever beaten a new episode of 2BG in the 18-49 Demo. Expect both shows to be adjusted to 2.8 in the final numbers.

  • BigBrotherFan

I really figured they where pointing at *SPOILER* as Victor Garber as the killer but I really want a season two, as well. With SOFIA’s displayed WRATH on a few episodes I’m rooting for her to be the killer. How can a man kill his own daughter, really? I can see him perhaps covering for SOFIA but not killing Vivian for his own GREED.

Good. I thought ****************spoiler *******************Garber as the killer was lame.

  • Linda E.

@K: You are so funny !!! You actually paid HF-0 two compliments, one of which you probably didn’t mean to. Alex was featured a lot in last nights’
episode. For me, that’s what made it great !!! Season 3 has been very good, overall. Cheers !!!

  • Samunto

I too are rooting for SPOILER ALERT: Sofia to be the killer. I hope she got drunk, killed Vivian and then Victor Garber covered for her. And how he really not know that Joanna is a cop?! Couldn’t he do a background check on her or google her ass?! That’s to me is the weakest plotline. But anyway, i also came to somehow believe the Graysons really aren’t able to find out who Emily Thourne really is on Revenge.

Nice numbers for Castle. It’s growing a lot more older-skewing lately but it’s overall audience is stellar for an ABC drama right now. Sad thing is it’s demo is still among the better one on ABC as of late. All of these people calling for a shortened final season for Castle must be smoking something because right now, this is probably one of ABC’s favorite shows. It’s doing well and is a good candidate for syndication since it’s the network’s only successful procedural in over a decade. ABC must love Castle and I doubt anything irrelevant such as retention or how much it creams the failing CBS shows matter much.

Speaking of which, what’s happening to CBS Monday? They’re starting to look like ABC-level numbers.

  • just_now

    ” It’s growing a lot more older-skewing lately”
    DWTS effect…??

  • Hmm

Castle is already in syndication- on TNT. And doing pretty well for TNT too.

“I don’t believe that HIMYM has ever beaten a new episode of 2BG in the 18-49 Demo.”

It did for the day after The Super Bown episode. I believe it happened again plus they have tied which is pathetic for 2 Broke Girls. It’s the 9pm anchor and it should be pulling at least 3s consistently on CBS. At this point, CBS needs to fix their Monday comedy block before doing 2 hours on Thursday.

  • Guadalupe

I”m glad Castle did pretty good. Best show on tv )

  • BigBrotherFan

Haha! I know with all the resources they have you think they would of busted her by episode 2. It’s TV, though, so in TV land for sake of the plot, she gets away with it episode after episode..Oh and I love how open Joanna and Alonzo character and the promoted cop where talking in open at the party. I was like…Please!!!! Someone must wonder how this girl is talking to these two cops out of nowhere..lol but it good fun show!

  • Maya

CBS almost drop to 3rd place. And it may happen with The Voice and Revolution back next week.
HIMYM is the strongest CBS performer for the night, while h50 is the weakest one. Because 10 pm is the slot with the weakest competition while the comedy block was against DWTS. CBS will probably premiere Beverly Hills Cop next year at 10 pm, maybe they will recover then the viewers CSI Miami once had.
DWTS did well, but it will drop next week against The Voice.
Counting the days for Revolution :)

  • Ben

Dancing With The Stars is back. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

  • bob

I love the idiots who are worried about CBS. Please. CBS is in the best shape of ALL networks. They are the ONLY network that hits 20 million viewers EVER. NBC is on life support at best. Fox is dying (American Idol about there only hit). ABC is hyperventalating. CW…whatever. Stop with the pity party of CBS….the ONLY network that will be around in 20 years.
