Ratboy wrote about: “Chris Matthews Asks If Tea Party Wants An America Where ‘There Are No Gays, Blacks Were Slaves, Mexicans Were in Mexico’”

I want an America without Chris Matthews, where he leaves at his own chosen speed, of course.

AHHH another from Doofus Joe!

Biden: Gabby Giffords ‘Was Shot and Mortally Wounded’
Vice President Joe Biden incorrectly stated early today that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords had been “shot and mortally wounded

“Gabby Giffords, my good friend, was shot and mortally wounded,” Biden claimed.

Biden made the comment as he tried to gin up support for gun control.

    Why is Rasmussen so high?

Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 52%.

Today’s figures include 30% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 36% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -6

I have it through reliable sources (at CNN, no less!) that BSNBC is thinking seriously about scheduling an hour-long show (prerecordeded) about the rigors of teaching in Harlem. It will have as its core a class room of Head Start chirren. The first show (as I have on good source) will show the chirren singing the praises of The Anointed One and what He will do for education in Amerika. Should be fascinating given the demographics. Can’t wait for it to debut. Nightly re-runs of the show will precede the Mr. Ed (rerun) show at 11.00p. Gosh! They are pulling out all the stops1 They are also working on a new documentary: “2016: Socialism in Amerika Realized.” Wow! Can’t wait for that one either! GO BSNBC – you’re finally proving your relevancy!!!

THis just in: Colorado has passed and the governor has signed sweeping gun control measures. The right wing gun lobby has threatened to kill congresspeople supporting gun control. Just as the whole country supports tighter gun control, so does Colorado. La Pierre continues to put blood money in his pockets and disobey the wishes of his NRA membership…..

  • usa8888

This just in: Obama is approved of by three times as many Americans as approve of the right wing GOP….

You have to look at what the actual question and how it was asked and then the sampeling. The Left laughs at Rassmusen but they will go with it today because it makes Obumbles look better. They like whatever poll works best but if it don’t they will laugh at it!!

I was wondering if The Anointed One will have time to walk on the Sea of Galilee once again if only for the photo op? I understand he has interrupted his guests at least five times to see how his show on ESPN is doing in the ratings. He was, of course, checking on his Bracket picks. That’s my kinda prez! Sorta reminds me of “playing the fiddle while Rome burns!” A leader of his people in all respects! No need to worry about problems, debt, world on fire, etc. etc….as long as there’s time for golf and basketball who would want to meet with Congress anyway?

  • Ratboy

Of course Cathy, then there are those who would not understand a poll if it had nothing but pictures and an audio explanation of it……………..if you know what I mean!

  • usa8888

THis just in: two-thirds of Americans favor illegal immigrant path to citizenship…so there will be fights between the moderate GOP and the right wing on this…The GOP will need to drop conservative ideology or PERISH>>>>>>>>

The U.S. still consumes more oil than any other country, but demand is weak and imports are falling. That leaves China, which overtook the U.S. late last year as the world’s largest oil importer, as the single biggest influence on global demand for fuels. China’s consumption has risen 28 percent in five years, to 10.2 million barrels per day last year.

    Hope you have fun today.

I first read the history of Chandor Gardens, then , used Google ‘ images’ for the grand tour. It’s a lovely garden with a lot of hardscape which I love but don’t have room for here. What a glorious backdrop for wedding photos.

My brother & his wife in Indiana bought & renovated a Victorian home with a great deal of acreage. They obtained most of their ornamental metal hardscapes at a salvage renovation company in Chicago, &, all their hardscapes , fountains arbors, statues , have a history of the past . They have an acre of wildflowers , which is hard to maintain , formal gardens , an orchard , a vegetable , &, berry garden , & of course, the roses. Their roses are all antique… hybrid musks , rugosas with heady fragrances , floribunda, old teas , species, & Bourbon roses like ,Zephirine Drouhin,, that climb into shaded trees, & up their smoke house or a rose called ,Manchester Guardian Angel, in which the thorns are quite wicked.

Government Sells $490 Million of GM Stock

The report said the government has recovered about $29.8 billion of its $49.5 billion bailout of the Detroit automaker. That means the government has yet to recover $19.7 billion of its investment in the automaker, AP said.

Low-wage jobs are usually the first to come back after a slump, and roughly 65% of the jobs added since the recession officially ended in June 2009 have been the low-wage variety.

I thought we were out of Iraq. Maybe congress doesn’t know. :???:

The measure would fund the day-to-day operating budgets of every Cabinet agency through Sept. 30, provide another $87 billion to fund overseas military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and maintain a pay freeze for federal workers.
