There is still a chance smash could still get renewed
All of the viewership totals are the same as the preliminaries. Is that right?
WHEN PIGS FLY
I guessed BOP would pull a 1.5 after the DWTS Results show, not a recap show. It could possibly increase next week. I think it’s possible ABC will renew it again for midseason filler.
Nice to see golden boy averaging out. CBS should do what NBC did with Chicago fire, stick with it and hopefully see it rise. Last nights episode was rather nifty.
Pathetic numbers for NBC. Smash and The New Normal should be canceled ASAP. These low numbers should not be tolerated, NBC needs to revamp their whole Tuesday lineup.
I had a bad feeling Splash would do good for ABC. I think they did a really good job promoting the show and a lot of people tuned in just to see how ridiculous the show really is. It’s such an idiotic idea for a show that it has to be seen to believe.
Gibbs – “He’s not a dog, he’s a marine”
sara u should have use an ncisla pic from last night episode why no love for ncis on this site
If Smash was a CW show, it would be considered a hit.
ABC could run Body of Proof in 18-episode seasons so it always follows DWTS. I mean, if syndication is the only goal here, it shouldn’t really matter that it can’t stand on its own, as long as it’s pulling decent numbers until they have enough episodes to cancel it, right?
Also, I’d like to point out that BoP had a lead-in of 2.4 for its premiere (The Bachelor special) and that it still did better last night with a lower-rated lead-in. It’s not how high its lead-in is, it’s about compatibility, and BoP apparently is very much compatible with DWTS. Speaking of, if DWTS Results comes back to a 2.7-2.9 rating, as I expect it will, Body of Proof could shoot up to a 2.0, easy.
The chances of Smash being renewed are the chances that my worst enemy and I will become BFFs.
I wonder if NBC will cancel The New Normal
So Justified beats 2 of NBC’s offerings in 18-49 (and nearly matched the other 3). Beats 1 of NBC’s shows in total viewers and nearly matches 2 others. WoW…pathetic. Also a tribute to the quality of Justified
Is Smash really that bad that it deserves a 0.7? Thats ridiculously bad.
@ultima I updated the viewers numbers. Thanks.
If BOP is renewed, will Nashville be cancelled?
“If BOP is renewed, will Nashville be cancelled?”
No because Nashville is likely to be ABC’s save face renewal so they don’t have to cancel all their new dramas and BOP isn’t new.
Oh my, NBC is weak. Wonder if Voice and Revolution return strong. I mean so few viewers are watching NBC now. So promotion for these shows are serously limited. Internet, Magazine ads and Billboards only do so much.
Can NBC please pull New Normal off the schedule now and cancel that trash?
New Normal staying on the schedule may have helped Smash get renewed which was probably NBC’s plan all along anyways.
C BEAST S with NCIS: RED!
