    nbc just needs to cancel everything that aired last night…all of these shows are in their first or second seasons and will never make syndication anyway…

  • THE OLD MAN

    Go CBS!

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Fred
    DWTS was with less promotion. The voice is already in many site. And first month of that show is pure fun and show so will be strong as always. Live concerts in end of May and June will be the problem. But the voice at least here in europe is format #1 because is mainly show and fun not only singing.

    would nbc really renew a show that does decent after the heavily-watched The Voice, but does terrible without it??

  • Petar Ivanov

    If ready for love is like TB will be best possible choice for sunday after football.(good spring reality) Than TBL with one but longer sycle to wednesday. With winter olympics NBC can fighr for second place next season.

    Smash showed its widespread appeal by increasing the total audience from The New Normal.

    I don’t think “widespread appeal” means what you think it means.

  • Petar Ivanov

    @No because Nashville is likely to be ABC’s save face renewal so they don’t have to cancel all their new dramas

    This will be mistake. Look what happen with Smash. Glee is droping fast too.

  • Kavyn

    There is absolutely zero chance Smash will be renewed. Not with these ratings.

  • Derick

    Go On and New Normal have really collapsed. The first few episodes of New Normal were awesome, but the creativity has wained recently. I hope it gets a reprieve…

    @Alan

    I wonder if NBC will cancel The New Normal

    NBC The New Normal 0.7/2 2.11

    Hmm… I wonder.

    How was Glee a face-saving renewal? It was the top scripted show overall in its second season.

    I do agree that it’s dumb to renew your highest rated new show just because it’s your highest rated new show. If Nashville is in the low 1s the rest of the season, it should be canceled.

    tuesday is really bad day and open door for new hit shows. NBC should go with 2 dramas after the voice in the fall. And reality for the spring.

  • sarah

    Per Sara Bibel of this site: “Scripted cable dramas and reality shows are frequently beating broadcast network primetime programming this season. Last night, a cable news program managed to outperform much of NBC’s primetime line up in Total Viewers. More people tuned into FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor (2.92 million P2+) than Go On (2.87 million P2+), The New Normal (2.11 million P2+) or Smash(2.66 million P2+).”

    Congratulations to Mr. O’Reilley and FNC :D!

  • Laura

    YAY! 2.3 for New Girl is steady! :)

  • forg

    Impressed on how BOP increased with a lower lead in than it had when it premiered this season. Interesting case

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Ultima

    I use these 3 shows like type of shows with lower(and droping) ratings these days. Like law/legal shows.

    complitly agree with you. But to be fair wednesday 10 pm is tough spot for show. DD is big now. May be for 10 pm on abc low 1s is new normal. Who knows.

  • MARTY

    ultima, thank you. it was on espn at 7 the nit game. it was major upset, i wasnt watching at first, but was called and told. is it able to be shown if the game picked up viewers as it went on? thanks

  • starship

    NBC need to cancel both The New Normal and Go On. At this stage they’ll be fools to renew Go On over Whitney. Go On will be below 1.0 by the end of the season, especially since it’s moving to the highly competitive Thursday night.

  • Amy

    Smash viewers can blame Josh Safran for ruining their show. He is a show ruiner.
