Them radical left-wing democrats voted to make permanent four long-standing gun protections. They think everybody should have a nuclear bomb.

    ——————————-

During the same week that Senate Democrats shelved their attempts to re-instate the assault weapons ban, the continuing resolution that is expected advance to President Obama’s desk will make four long-standing gun protections permanent, ABC’s Sunlen Miller notes. The four gun provisions are: (1) A measure which would prevent the Justice Department from requiring firearms dealers to conduct inventories to make sure weapons haven’t been stolen; (2) A measure which would prevent the government from changing the definition of antique guns; (3) A measure which would prevent the Justice Department from denying a license to firearms dealers who report no business activity; (4) A measure that would require the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to include language in firearms data stating that the information can’t be used to make conclusions about gun crimes.

Jake heading in the wrong direction.

    —————————————

New news series The Lead With Jake Tapper garnered 64,000 viewers in the key Adults 25-54 demographic on Wednesday. This represents a 31 percent drop from day 2 (93,000) to day 3. Only two programs on CNN on Wednesday had lower Adults 25-54 ratings: its lead-in CNN Newsroom (63,000) and a repeat of Anderson Cooper at 4AM (57,000). Nielsen does not count ratings for shows that have fewer than 50,000 viewers.

Department Of Education Website Quotes Mass-Murdering Socialist Mao Zedong…(also transliterated as Mao Tse-tung )
    – –

He only killed 70 million people by starvation, torture, and murder What’s the big deal?

We all remember Anita Dunn, the former Obama White House Communications Director who said that her favorite philosopher is Mao Tse-tung. Dunn was speaking in Washington to a high school graduation group praising Mao, within ‘Washington National Cathedral’ when she made that statement.

Bob Beckel the token liberal on Fox’s “The Five” has asked that we tweet, email whatever to CBS in protest a segment of “Amazing Race” singing the praises of Communism and showing the pride of Vietnam, the wrecked B-52 bomber where two of our brave airmen died and two were captured and tortured in POW camps. I seldom agree with Mr. Beckel, but this time I agree 100% He is demanding an apology from CBS. Perhaps they should also make a hefty donation to Wounded Warrior or a Vietnam Veterans cause. If you agree, please let CBS know. I lost 2 cousins and 3 friends in that war and am not amused by CBS playing games for communism and around a wrecked bomber.

The Daily Caller Gets Burned By Their Own Menendez Source
1 hour and 42 minutes ago ››› SIMON MALOY
The Daily Caller’s lurid, fraudulent story of Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) patronizing Dominican prostitutes has taken yet another hit as the lawyer representing the prostitutes, Melanio Figueroa, has reportedly let loose with a variety of outlandish story-changing allegations, among them that he was paid and pressured by various media outlets (the Daily Caller among them) to fabricate the whole affair. Figueroa’s credibility is now non-existent, which only serves to reinforce how wildly irresponsible the Daily Caller was to run with the story in the first place.

The Washington Post reported on March 22 that a “top Dominican law enforcement official” said that Figueroa told investigators that in autumn 2012 he had been approached by a man claiming to be from the Daily Caller and offered $5,000 to “find prostitutes who would lie and say they had sex for money with Sen. Robert Menendez.” The Daily Caller adamantly denied the allegations, which as of yet lack evidence and appear far-fetched, and the Post acknowledged that the “account provided that Dominican authorities said they received from Figueroa could not be independently confirmed by The Washington Post.” The Post also noted that Figueroa’s new story is a reversal from his previous denials of having made the whole thing up.

The Daily Caller, meanwhile, has published a story pushing back against Figueroa, reporting that he “blamed four news outlets — CNN, The Daily Caller, Telemundo and Univision — for allegedly encouraging him to fabricate false accusations about Menendez.” The Caller also reported that “CNN and Univision both issued statements forcefully denying Figueroa’s accusations,” and pointed out that the attorney has repeatedly contradicted himself in recent days as the Menendez story has collapsed.

Again, Figueroa’s credibility is extremely lacking, but the Daily Caller’s attempts to demonstrate as much are telling, given that Figueroa featured prominently in then-Daily Caller reporter Matthew Boyle’s original story reporting the bogus allegations against Menendez. Figueroa was the only Dominican source identified by name:

Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.

In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000-acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100.

The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa. Both asked that their identities remain obscured for fear of reprisals in the Dominican Republic.

A number of other news outlets were approached with the fake Menendez story — ABC News, the Star Ledger (Newark, New Jersey), The New York Post — and they all turned it down because they didn’t believe it passed muster. Their skepticism was wise — one of the women who made allegations against Menendez has since recanted, and the Dominican police say they have determined that all three were paid to offer the tale.

The Daily Caller, however, ran with it. And now they’re working to discredit their original source, having come lately to the realization that he probably can’t be trusted.

Dougz, see it is impossible to go as low as Jeffie. I do believe I touched a nerve again. You can almost see his red face as he goes off in one of his posts.

Fox Fearmongers About Costs Under Health Care Law

Fox Business host Stuart Varney selectively cited a Wall Street Journal article to fearmonger over President Obama’s health care law, ignoring that potential increases would impact only a small part of the insured population and would be partially offset by federal tax subsidies.

On America’s Newsroom, Varney, citing a Wall Street Journal article, claimed that millions of people “will be paying a whole lot more for their individual coverage after Obamacare takes full effect next year. In some cases, the premiums that they will pay will double.”

But Varney ignored several key facts from the WSJ article to stoke fears about costs under the health care law.

The Journal reported that tax subsidies “will limit many consumers’ costs” and that “[m]ore than half of the 35 million people expected to be in the individual market by 2016 are likely to qualify for credits.” The Journal also noted that some individuals and small businesses will actually see their premiums decrease and that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office “says average individual premiums, on an apples-to-apples basis, would be lower.”

Moreover, an Associated Press report found that potential increases in health care premiums would impact “a relatively small slice of the insured population” and that the law “is expected to tame health care costs for many.” The AP also found that tax credits will offset some of the premium increases:

There also will be tax credits, or subsidies, given to people with incomes that fall within 400 percent of the federal poverty level. For 2013, 400 percent of the poverty level for all states except Alaska and Hawaii would be $94,200. These credits won’t lower premiums, but they can ease the insurance bill depending on a person’s income.

The credits should help the 20-something customers that insurers warn will see big premium hikes, said Linda Blumberg, an economist with the Health Policy Center of the Urban Institute, a nonpartisan policy research organization.

    […]

“While these folks are potentially facing some premium increases due to all these reforms, they also are the ones most likely to get the financial help from the exchanges,” she said.

On March 13, Fox & Friends also misled on premium costs under the health care law when co-host Alisyn Camerota claimed, “Your premiums are going to double and that your bills could double, this is really stunning news for lots of Americans.”

  • DB

Just FYI folks, everyone knows Menendez is a crook, the only question now is is he a pedophile. Articles from Jeffie come from left wing websites and have twisted the truth and just plain lied, especially in the 2nd one. Still waiting for an original thought from Jeffie that doesn’t include name calling. Also, Jeffie, the lady in 4B still needs her toilet fixed.

  • DB

Jeffie, you should be happy with what you have no matter how little that is. Try to lighten up and maybe you might have a friend someday. I know it gets lonely in your world of hate but take a happy pill and watch a sunset from the balcony of your apt. or watch it thru the sunroof of your vw beetle. Its all good.
