Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for CBS (NCAA Basketball tournament) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

ABC was number one in adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On ABC, the season finale of  Last Man  Standing earned a 1.6 up 14 percent from last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were about right. The season finale of Malibu Country garnered a1.4 up 27 percent from last week's 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. 20/20 earned a 1.6 up 14 percent from last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS,  night two of the NCAA Basketball Tournament averaged a 1.0 preliminary adults 18-49 rating compared to a 2.2 night two of last year’s tournament on Friday, March 23, 2012, but this will certainly change in the finals. It should also be noted that with the tournament also airing on three cable channels, the overall ratings for the tournament may be on par with last year.

On NBC Fashion Star scored a 0.7, even with last week’s adults 18-49 rating.  Grimm scored a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, matching last week’s performance. Rock Center garnered a 0.9 up 50 percent from last week's 0.6 among adults 18-49.

On Fox, Touch earned a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating up 17 percent from last week's  0.6 rating.

On the CW, Cult scored a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week.

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Hello season 3 LMS !!!!!!!!!

  • Dillan

Not bad for MC. I think it will get a second season.

  • Tom

Fingers crossed for Malibu Country! Would love to see a second season of it!

  • Melissa

    Another good night for ABC!

  • rob60990

Wow those comedies skewed extra old. Highest since like their 2nd episodes. I think both will be back.

Justin Timberlake repeat music special did the same or better than just about every episode of Nikita except 2 of them.

  • RJ

Last Man Standing may have earned itself a third season. Malibu Country? Eh.

A repeat of iHeartRadio tied a new episode of Nikita bahahahaha.

  • Ram510

Just like I was saying on Thursday, if Last Man Standing can get these ratings (better than Neighbors and Suburgatory this week) on a Friday just think of what it can do on another night like Wednesday

  • STEVEN

loved grimms last episode :) fashion star looks to be becoming a flop now too

  • Mon

    I hope iHeartRadio adjusts up.

  • omabin

I don’t understand how MC’s numbers on a Friday aren’t considered better than the ones pulled by the neighbours on a wednesday. It would be pulling 1.0s on fridays imo, i don’t think it is worth changing one for the other. LMS is a lock for renewal in my opinion, I would be shocked to see it go. Sad that Grimm could not go higher, but I guess that is what happens when you put it between the two most incompatible shows on the network.

  • Patrick Gillease

Fridays are so boring now with “Fringe” gone. Who gives a rat’s ass?

  • NBC Fan

    20/20 did well.

  • Greg

Why are they giving Nikita these random breaks? They still have 8 episodes left unaired. Are they planning on airing them for the next 8 weeks with no more breaks or going through summer or what?

  • s0303

grimm has been a little lower since its hiatus, but still pretty good…especially compared to fashion star and rock center…i really liked last nights episode.

lms should definitely be renewed, but i would keep it on friday. it wasn’t getting much better ratings this time last year on tuesdays…malibu country is still a toss up on renewal for me, though good this week.

  • Ram510

I’m not sure if Happy Endings is going to get more than half of LMS ratings

  • Gene

Rock Center actually rose considerably from last week. I wonder why last week was so bad for it?

  • Will

LMS and MC are both coming back next season. No question.

  • S G sims

Loved Malibu Country! Best show ever. Waiting for a second season. Reba and Lily Mae are getting sassy. Whoo-Hoo!

  • Densino

GRIMM matches is season low ….. good but not great

LMS AND MC will be renewed

    CULT FLOP

    TOUCH FLOP

    FLOP FLOP FLOP

And why wasn’t FLOPKITA on last night? I needed a laugh
