Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for CBS (NCAA Basketball tournament) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

ABC was number one in adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On ABC, the season finale of  Last Man  Standing earned a 1.6 up 14 percent from last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were about right. The season finale of Malibu Country garnered a1.4 up 27 percent from last week's 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. 20/20 earned a 1.6 up 14 percent from last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS,  night two of the NCAA Basketball Tournament averaged a 1.0 preliminary adults 18-49 rating compared to a 2.2 night two of last year’s tournament on Friday, March 23, 2012, but this will certainly change in the finals. It should also be noted that with the tournament also airing on three cable channels, the overall ratings for the tournament may be on par with last year.

On NBC Fashion Star scored a 0.7, even with last week’s adults 18-49 rating.  Grimm scored a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, matching last week’s performance. Rock Center garnered a 0.9 up 50 percent from last week's 0.6 among adults 18-49.

On Fox, Touch earned a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating up 17 percent from last week's  0.6 rating.

On the CW, Cult scored a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week.

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I think Grimm will go up when the voice comes back. More people watching the network means more people seeing promos for Grimm.

  • Lane

I think LMS will definitely be renewed but I only see MC being renewed if they expand to 2 hour comedy block on Fridays next season.

  • Kaitlin Taylor

I am really hoping there will be a second season for Malibu Country. It is a really great show, and it is getting better every week. Love Reba.

  • John A

Come on NBC dump Fashion Star and add Dateline at 8pm. Grimm could easily rise to a 1.5-1.6. Lol A Justin Timberlake repeat music special Matched New episodes of Nikita. Not surprised.

  • Gene

    @John A

Totally agree, Fashion Star does nothing for them at all.

  • Ram510

    @ Greg

That was my thought exactly! I thought they would’ve aired Nikita uninterrupted for all of March to let it catch up but they last minute changed to iheart radio. Every time Nikita gains momentum they randomly kill it. The finale date is May 17th if I remember correctly so now they have to air the rest with no breaks.

The CW doesn’t know what they are doing

  • iMember

Not related to tonight’s ratings, but did TVByTheNumbers report on ABC Family renewing Baby Daddy for a Season 3 before Season 2 even premiered?

About the ratings, Grimm had a great episode last night! Hope the ratings rise next week or it adjusts up. I like that Nick’s Grimm Abilities are growing.

Didn’t get to see LMS or Malibu Country last night. ABC in Orlando decided to show Jimmy Neutron last night instead. :<

  • Brandy

Haha a repeat of a music special does the same as a new Nikita.

  • XXX

Let’s hope Touch will adjust down.

“Fridays are so boring now with “Fringe” gone. Who gives a rat’s ass?”

What portion of a rodent’s anatomy is required to care enough to comment?

  • Ricky

Wow, great episodes for Grimm and Touch last night. Glad Touch ticked up at least slightly. Grimm should have been higher, but probably the fly Wesen in every commercial scared some people off – and yes, the episode was extremely terrifying. The page picture is proof enough, but the parasites burrowing out of the one lady’s eyes – that’s gonna stick with us Grimm fans for quite a while.

  • Dan

Last Man Standing is definitely coming back hopefully for a full third season, not sure about Malibu Country.

  • Matt

Awesome news for ABC. LMS and MC both surged almost 2 million viewers for their finales. There is no way ABC could cancel such hits – that almost do better than their weekday hits.

  • Lily

The CW needs to cancel Cult.

  • David Howell

The JT special got the same numbers on its second airing as the first, somehow!

ABC has some complicated scheduling decisions to make on the sitcom front. I don’t doubt that whatever they do won’t work and people will complain about scheduling!

  • Ram510

    @ iMember

Jimmy neutron??? Why? I would’ve been pissed I’m glad I’m not out there

  • Matt

ABC had the top 3 shows of the night – LMS, MC, and 20/20, just to point that.

  • Melissa

    Grimm & Nikita = Renewed

    Touch & Cult = Cancelled

Fox stop renewing/canceling shows until May
CBS, ABC, & NBC start renewing & canceling shows

  • John A

It didnt make sense to pull Nikita this week. Next week being Good Friday made sense not to air it. But im sure that fan excuse bingo will be thrown around by its fans next week.
