Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    OUAT :(

Hopefully Once Upon a Time will adjust up. Although it was a weak episode (Sorry I’m just not invested enough in Pinnochio to cure about his dramas or some new random villain) the show does not deserve to keep sinking in the ratings :(

  • James

GO, GO QUAT! Down the drain!

  • Ash

Ouch for OUAT. It seemed like forever when it used to hit mid to high 3’s. Now watch as all the OUAT fans try and make up excuses ;)

  • dianamack

i was expecting worse for The Mentalist, considering that it airs 45 minutes later.

  • JR35

If OUAT gets adjusted up, will it match the low? I recall a 2.2 final rating at some point.

  • jT

once upon a time will bounce back.

  • DW

so its like TGW 1.5-1.6 and TM 1.5-1.6 when it all comes out in the wash.

  • Colin

LOL AT OUAT. What a desaster.

  • DW

once upon a time… when it was a good show and got ratings. :)

  • Oliver

Jesus, even Dateline isn’t working for NBC. What a mess.

  • were123

At least Revenge is flat, really steady at 1.8s, which is safe. I’d love if it hit 2s again, but I can wait. The only thing that matters is that it gets a 3rd season and so the 4th is a go!

  • Terry

Revenge actually did okay against the penultimate episode of the Walking Dead. Next week’s finale of TWD will be huge, so I expect Revenge to fall unfortunately.

  • Clarke

OUAT not looking good. Really sad to see the show this low with little competition. Last night episode was my least favorite so far, mostly due to due terrible writing. Hopefully the numbers and the writing will improve in the coming episodes…

  • John A

Revenge stable. I doubt It wont rise again till the finale.

  • Ashley

Spot on with the 2.1 guess but kinda sad. I had a feeling people would be fleeing that show. Now Grimm needs to go up. ?

  • gerry

glad to see revenge level at least. hopefully it will boost a bit as we get closer to may sweeps. i haven’t seen last night’s ep but it has been ON THE MONEY as of late.

i have no idea what to make of TGW numbers because of the damn overrun, but it was one of the finest episodes of the season. but i’m still thinking 1.5-1.6. at least i can rest easy (mostly) in its renewal chances.

  • catsrule

It’s really sad to see Once Upon a Time keep dropping. It’s just as good as ever, I miss the days when it hit 3s.
