Great Job CBS! Of course this week NBC may get the number one spot because their lone “hit” is back.

  • Martin

Do you have the point numbers so we can see how close networks are to dropping like if NBC is 2.356?.

  • Samunto

Can Bill Gorman or Robert or anyone calculate what it will take for NBC to beat FOX to 2nd position or in how many weeks?

  • RJ

It’s close to impossible for NBC to take back the number one spot. You’re expecting them to make up 0.5 demo points in less than two months. CBS would have to fall apart and NBC would have to bring life back to every night (including Thursdays, which won’t happen). There is probably enough for them to overtake FOX, but it may still not happen.

CBS should be much further ahead of FOX since they had the Super Bowl, but their not, Hmmmmmm

    Unrounded numbers

    FOX 2.557164902
    NBC 2.426814841
    ABC 2.29072397

NBC has to beat Fox by 0.38 points/week to overtake them by the end of the season
ABC has to beat NBC by 0.39 points/week to overtake them by the end of the season

    Much thanks Bill Gorman.

Now let’s see if the eyeballs watching The Voice will be convinced to check out the peacock’s other series. Hannibal and Ready For Love…. can’t wait for those ratings.

  • rob60990

NBC only a tenth ahead of ABC. Too bad it won’t last.

If Ready for Love hits then NBC has a chance for 2nd…if not (and I think not) than the positions they have now is how the season will end.

  • TV Addict

C’mon NBC! Now that The Voice is back, Community will get 3’s and you’ll be in first!!!!
Lol jk. I hope it can snag second tho.

    Go CBS!

If American Idol doesn’t rise in the next few weeks, NBC has a strong chance of taking 2nd back.

If American Idol doesn’t rise in the next few weeks, NBC has a strong chance of taking 2nd back.

The Voice isn’t going to double NBC’s weekly numbers.
