    MSNBC is going down for the count. NBC Universal is not as strong as they used to be. They may have to fold that tent.

    Why? MSNBC’s profit continued to grow in 2012 (though only by a small amount, relative to Fox), and their expenses are only a third of those at FNC and CNN. If anyone’s heading down a dark road it’s CNN – their reputation is in the crapper, their audience is eroding, and Fox is growing faster (in terms of investment/expenses), and also closing the gap in cumulative viewership.
