    Good Morning Everyone

Cool new design here, I like it.

Observation on the ratings, It does seem like MSNBC is tanking lately, just wondering if any of their anchors are off or what?

Rachel Maddow Show at 728? and None of their shows get near a Million anymore, what happened?

Not a rub at them just wondering)

Good Morning! WOW! this site is as bright and shiny as our very sunny Michigan morning!! But there is a little frost on the snow banks!!

  • Letmethink

Good morning–up to 70 today with lots of sunshine–a little windy.

  • Coffee Steve

    @Mickey O

    Morning Mickey & Rats
I read that story yesterday Mickey about the 3 year old and the woman who got approved. Like I said this country and the entire world is bass akwards anymore.

I know I’m not a big expert, never claimed to be on the Market but I have delat with it a number of years now. I am starting to see the end of the Bull Market and it could be a quick downturn in June.

The futures market (Overall) all of a sudden is not looking well with only 3 markets MEX BOLSA IDX, BOVESPA INDEX, HANG SENG IDX showing a small positive for June.

Rats this is the first time I have seen the futures going down 100 Plus in a 90 day period. I honestly don’t remember that even happening in 2008 even after the crash. I been reading some at Bloomberg and CNBC and Forbes and the outlook is not well.

They see the dollar going to levels never before seen, and even the Euro tanking. All this bailout junk overseas is about to catch up and when it filters to here, (and it will) it may not be pretty for a long while.

Good morning–up to 70 today with lots of sunshine–a little windy

We’re finally heading in that direction ourselves :-)

Maybe lefties have better things to do with their life than watch basic cable news….

  • Mikey O

@Coffee Steve They have a saying in the stock market sell in May stay away, that usually the summers months are are down/flat months for stocks. Its does have a good % rate.

  • Coffee Steve

    Morning Mark
Maybe lefties have better things to do with their life than watch basic cable news….

That would be a good thing :-)

  • Coffee Steve

    @Mickey O

That actually is true (about Stay Away In May), this time is different though, I have never seen the downturn they think is coming soon, and with food prices about to explode it could be a long ride, but hopefully not a major downturn, which is possible I guess

  • Letmethink

Just tried to google to see if anything about msnbc ratings drop. Just a little here and there. Most comments were about no news, just opinion. Many express opinions about hosts being stiff and mean. Never watch it so have no personal opinions.
Jake Tapper is not off to a good start. Many think they put him in a time slot that does not work well for him.

  • Ratboy

    @ Coffee Dude
    I know I’m not a big expert,

I talk with my guy a couple times a week. He says that I am doing the same thing as the big boys in that we are waiting until it starts to tank then we plan on getting out. It is very risky but he says that the big boys are in an out, go big then take profits, bank the profit and go back in. He said they are doing what everyone is SUPOSSED to do in Vegas, go with your own money and pocket the winnings don’t put them back in.

He has promised that he set up a safety net in that he has different levels to pull out. When certain indicators throw up a flag he will pull out chunk A then chunk B gets pulled at the next flag and on and on. He said that could be done over days or hours! He also said that “you will lose some but not enough to stop eating over” isn’t THAT comforting?

He is predicting some kind of government scandal that will blow things up. He said he has nothing to base it on other than the way this administration does things and goes by “rule??? we don’t need no stinking rules!!!!”

  • Ratboy

The more they print money the less our dollar is worth and that is one of the reasons for higher gas and food prices! At this rate before you know it the only thing are money will buy will be Park Place and Baltic RR!

  • Ratboy

STUDY: Health overhaul to raise claims cost 32%…

Will soar 62% in CA, 80% in OH, WI…

  • Coffee Steve

that we are waiting until it starts to tank then we plan on getting out

That is the scenario that follows past patterns in history, major gains and a run on the market and corps buying huge amount of stocks then in a one week period they sell off, followed by the smaller guys trying like hell to get out as quickly as they can before the big guys wipe them out to cover their coming losses.

All this past few months has been is a recipe for disaster and the stew is about to boil over. No one at this time could convince me to get back in.

  • Coffee Steve

OK, want to save a lot of money?

This home stain remover is the best we have EVER used, it gets stains out that nothing else ever could, give it a try. It cost next to nothing to make

    The mixture is
    1 tsp. Dawn dishwashing detergent
    3-4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide
    couple tablespoons of baking soda.

Scrub on with a scrubbing brush :)

  • Coffee Steve

Will soar 62% in CA, 80% in OH, WI…

The CBO also issued a report that said Under this administration Un-Employment will never go below 7.3%-7.0% and the debt will double.

  • Mike W

The guy you are talking with has a very creditable market philosophy. I do much the same but it is a constant learning process.

Investing has to be approached as a job. It requires time, research, and commitment. Now that I am retired I’m able to do the work required. The main thing is to develop a plan, modify it when the circumstances change, and don’t panic.

From Bloomberg News–interesting and gives us some hope
    2014 Races
In all, 21 Senate seats now held by Democrats are up for re-election next year, and five of them have been opened up by retirement announcements. Among Republicans, 14 Senate seats will be on the ballot and only one of the party’s incumbents — three-term Senator Susan Collins of Maine — is seeking re- election in a state Romney lost to President Barack Obama. So far, Republicans must defend two open seats, in Georgia and Nebraska, both of which Romney carried.
“The battle for the Senate will come down to Democrats’ ability to hold seats in Republican-leaning states,” said Nathan Gonzales, deputy editor of the non-partisan Rothenberg Political Report, based in Washington. “A lot depends on how popular the president is” next year “because if people are dissatisfied, their option is to vote against the president’s party.”
