I see MSNBC crunched FOX in primetime, I guess considering the programming, it’s the only way MSNBC viewers can stay in touch with the relatives….

Once again, demo does not work on cable news. None of them are in the top 50 for cable demo. You’re better off buying time on the TV Guide channel to reach the demo than any cable news outlet. But cling on.

What did CNN air Saturday night? HLN milking the trial for all its worth.

  • Ralph Hahn

WHO CARES if a cable news program makes it into the Top 50 of cable programs? First, cable news’s important demo is 25-54, while the Top 50 is based on the 18-49 demo. Secondly, measuring a cable news operation’s success or trends, you can’t count Friday evening and Saturdays-Sundays. The Friday night numbers mean even less during Daylight Savings Time. People are out. Same with weekends who are either with the family or playing golf, watching sports, whathaveyou.

    Clinging. Actually funny
