    I caught the 1st 3 chapters of The Bible over the weekend. I was expecting it to be a bit cheesy but was pleasantly surprised how well done this mini series has been done. This is the type of event programming the networks used to do. Remember Roots from the 70’s ? I of course plan to watch this to the end & find it like a good book you just can’t put down. I have to admit though that the actor portraying Satan does have an uncanny resemblance to Pres. Obama.

    @Dan S

    That’s a perfect analogy!

    The Bible perfectly strings together stories that everybody has heard countless number of times into one entertaining, cohesive, thought provoking, and informative TV mini-series!

    It’s truly a must watch and leaves you wanting more… I can’t wait for the conclusion Sunday night!

    There was not a dry eye last week when the show depicted the time before Jesus’ crucifixion. Next week will be even more emotionally moving and powerful.

    Great job History Channel!!!
