But why would you think they were airing a rerun of the series finale when there hasn’t even been a season finale yet?

  • MichaelChickless

Still good for Bones, The Following, and Revolution, plus I still need to watch the H50 I recorded. With all that, plus Dallas on TNT, last night was a busy TV night for me!

  • Nope

I thought your issue was with my theory and not the typo in the post. Series premiere.

  • Melissa

The Voice’s 4.8 premiere last night tied its Monday high from the fall season.

  • Holly

OK, that makes way more sense. Your theory is still just Fan Excuse Bingo though. With the exception of last minute schedule changes, we’ve never seen a listing error cause changes in the ratings.

I remember it was only you and I who were saying that The Voice should do high 4’s or low 5’s yesterday. Good call!

  • TSC’s Revenge

Revolution and the Following both suck! However, both will probably have another season… only because NBC and FOX are destitute when it comes to successful shows. Both however, will be in the ratings cellar next year.

  • xwiseguyx

The Following had 666 viewers… scary.

  • s0303

revolution lost close to half of its lead in…how is that impressive?

  • Ekras

Looks like the devil is a fan of “The Following”…..

TCD fell alot in viewers. Revolution did good for its return tto, The Voice was really good last night and i am sure it will do great again tonight.

    Five 0 up……Yippie!!!!!

Carrie Diaries is pretty much performing similarly to Gossip Girl’s final season.

    @ s0303

Maybe it’s because of the fact it had like a two month hiatus. So most people must not have known about it.

I´m glad Castle didn´t adjust down! BTW, looks like it´s the less lead-in dependant from the 3…at least, they had the worse lead-in today:)

Revolution went down but not by much, so we’ll have to wait for next week to see if it recovers or continues down.

The episode was probably the best one they’ve had yet, at least in terms of the action, despite still being stupid. It was nice for Elizabeth Mitchell to now have more screen time – she and Burke and Esposito are the only decent actors on the show.

The scenes were stupid as usual – no way you’re outrunning a minigun in a field. The helicopters didn’t see the wagon with the heavy armaments driving up to the battle zone? Uh, no. While it was nice to see the kid get killed since he was useless anyway, it rather made the entire first half of the season pointless. Suddenly the Resistance doesn’t have muskets any more by M-16’s, probably the writers knew facing attack helicopters with muskets would have been even more stupid than usual.

Show is likely to be renewed unless it drops over the next nine episodes, but God does it need to be canceled due to terminal stupidity in writing, acting and directing.

The Following had more stupid scenes than usual. The FBI agent in the motel, aware that he’s facing two or three guys with Uzis, stands right in front of the door, with no cover, with his lame pistol and gets his butt blown away. Later, Ryan and his buddy decide to barricade themselves in the guy’s house instead of disappearing in the woods and ambushing the thugs when they show up – not to mention forgetting to use the guy’s phone to call for backup – and THEN when the thugs DO show up, the guy steps OUT of the house and gets shot. Geniuses. No tactical smarts whatsoever. And THEN the dumb broad goes running to the thugs ANYWAY just so Ryan can agonize some more.

And now we’ve got two of the lame trio back and the third one is a hallucination.

This show IS starting to tick me off slightly. If it gets any worse, the ratings might start dropping faster.

The CW would be better off renewing BATB and bringing 90210 back instead of renewing TCD

  • Remote Patrolled

Why do people think Revolution is going to rise in future weeks? If anything it’s more likely to fall…

  • Martin

Realistically, Revolution will at best stay steady, maybe fall to around 2.4 rating by finale. Still definitely good enough for renewal.

Is anyone else really starting to get worried about CBS Monday, particularly its comedies, and again particularly 2 Broke Girls, while I can see this comedy being around for several more years, at least. Its not doing the numbers I say CBS expected. I think it could be moved somewhere else next season, maybe 9.30pm following a returning TAAHM or after TBBT.

  • David Howell

Castle seems to fit the DWTS audience even though said audience is smaller than that of Batchelor in 18-49 now, so it can hold steady with a smaller leadin.

Can Revolution survive without The Voice? At this point, they’ll be happy it’s getting decent numbers with it, I suspect.
