RON HOWARD AND BRIAN GRAZER TO GUEST STAR

IN THE UPCOMING “ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT” SEASON, PRODUCING A MOVIE BASED ON THE BLUTH FAMILY

In an exclusive to TV Guide Magazine Senior Editor Will Keck, Ron Howard broke news that he and fellow producer Brian Grazer will guest star in the next installment of “Arrested Development,” which will be available on Netflix in May. Offering rare scoop into the storyline of the eagerly-anticipated new season, it appears that Howard and Grazer’s production company will be creating a film based on the Bluth family.

“One of the very last lines in the show was when [I say in voice-over], 'I don't think [Arrested Development] is a TV show; maybe it's a movie,” said Howard. "So in the new season, we create a heightened version of Imagine Entertainment," which is Howard and Grazer's production company. Grazer then shared, “We talk about what could be our new Da Vinci Code.”

Meanwhile, star Jason Bateman, who plays Michael Bluth, added “in one episode, I get stuck in an elevator with Ron and Brian." However, it's not your typical close-quarters scenario. Howard chimed in, "It has a lot to do with our inflated egos."

Howard, Grazer, and Bateman offered the latest news to Keck when Grazer was presented with the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award at the Alzheimer's Association's "A Night at Sardi's" event.

pretty sure this isn’t news to anyone who’s familiar with the show.

awesome. Caught up on re-watching the whole series on Netflix – leaving it in my queue for when the new episodes arrive.

Looking forward to this on Netflix.

Since getting access to the international versions of Netflix I have been watching even less live TV.
