Expect another big snow before summer. Hauled the camper to the lake.

  • Bobbyv

Ok Redbar, tell me what other MSM favors the R’s? You telling me CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, etc favor the R’s? I must have missed all those claims of right wing bias towards them….and you are calling me a Kool-aid drinker???

  • Jeff

CNN NBC ABC CBS are right down the middle. It’s just that the “truth” & “facts” are things The Left (and majority of Americans) happen to be on the side of…. Sadly The Right prefer hype from extremist, misinformation, and lies.

  • Bobbyv

C’mon Jeff, you really think they are all down the middle and the only bias on TV is Fox? They are not MSNBC bias but I they lean left

  • Jeff

msnbc is left leaning and has far more liberal staff and commentators on all their programs regularly. As for CNN ABC NBC CBS, nope, straight down the middle with their reporting. msnbc was created as the alternative to Fox News for political news that caters to a particular audience. If you compare CNN ABC CBS NBC to Fox News they lean left…..ONLY by comparison.

But to the average viewer that has little political interest, they are all straight down the middle.

It’s quite embarrassing when I travel abroad and people actually think that Americans could think the way Fox News portrays America…..again it’s embarrassing!

  • ninja

@ Jeff………………….When abroad, stay. What is so embarrassing about America? If anything it’s people like you that embarrasses me.

  • ninja

@ JEFF………………….Is that what you say to a soldier that has fought for this country when you find out they watch Fox News? You discuss me.

  • ninja

@ Jeff…………………Not everybody lives in California. To bad you can’t buy morals, then could have it all.

  • Bobbyv

    Jeff,

Don’t take my word for it, do your own research. Are you saying people like Dan Rather were “straight down the middle”? Below is just one example I found:

CBS Producer: “I’m Done” Denying Liberal Media Bias

    Washington, Jul 9, 2012 –

Former CBS producer Greg Kandra recently highlighted the continued existence of the national liberal media’s bias.

As a result of the national media’s use of selectively edited clips to push its liberal agenda, he stated that he has “grown weary trying to defend” the national media. Kandra declared that he cannot and will not defend his former colleagues against claims of liberal bias.

He writes that the national media has “successfully eroded any confidence” the public has in the news. And that the national media has “done a [great] job of diminishing what was once a great profession and undermining one of the underpinnings of democracy, a free press.”

According to a recent Gallup poll, Americans’ confidence in the national media is at an all time low.  Americans’ lack of confidence in the national media will continue until the national media provides the American people with fair and objective coverage of the news.

  • Bobbyv

One more thing, NOT presenting stories that go against your side is a type of bias.

  • Ratboy

Truth, facts, travel abroad, straight down the middle?????

Yep, embarrassing might be one word that comes to mind………but not the one I am thinking of!

  • ninja

@Jeff………………..You make it sound like the people abroad watch Fox News more than most on this site. Is that true?

  • ninja

@ Jeff……………………..When abroad I take it you talk bad about America to make yourself look good in their eyes. You agree with Obama on everything and his popularity is going down with people abroad.

  • ninja

@ Jeff……………..Must apologize a little. After watching Jesus being crucified put me in a bad mood.

  • Jeff

@good points bobbyv thanks for sharing

@ninja Fox is broadcasted in many countries old Rupert owns a lot of News Corps. all over the Globe.

@ninja, it’s cool….don’t take it personal, I appreciate your views but have my own opinion. No…..I defend America as in “we are not like the idiots on Fox News”. We all do not want war with everyone, OR we do not all hate our Government as Fox pretty much beats into the minds of their viewers. Plus some of the stories they run with a fantasy War on Religion which is seen as unacceptable by other most Countries. They see it for what it is…..dangerous and playing with a very sensitive subject just to anger and serve a perverse social agenda.

@ninja the crucifixion is a very powerful emotional scene. Harness the positive from it, not the negative. He did it for us!

Speaking of embarrassing to other countries….
Case and point: Ratboy very angry, extremely dumb, 100% partisan sheep, hypocrite. We can throw BF Hillybilly in that category too….btw…..just saying!

David Stockman, Reagan’s budget director from 1981 to 1985, slammed Bush and his former boss in an op-ed in The New York Times Sunday. Stockman argued in the piece that Reagan’s view on the deficit “created a template for the Republicans’ utter abandonment of the balanced-budget policies of Calvin Coolidge.”

“(Reagan’s deficit policies) allowed George W. Bush to dive into the deep end, bankrupting the nation through two misbegotten and unfinanced wars, a giant expansion of Medicare and a tax-cutting spree for the wealthy that turned K Street lobbyists into the de facto office of national tax policy,” Stockman wrote.

Stockman, also a former Republican congressman from Michigan, resigned from Reagan’s administration in 1985 in protest over deficit spending. Bush and Reagan aren’t Stockman’s only targets in the piece; he attacks lawmakers, Federal Reserve and Treasury officials and Wall Street for a combination of easy money and deficit expanding policies that he argues will lead to another Wall Street bubble explosion in the near future.
Stockman may have a point when it comes to Bush’s policies, at least. The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined with the Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy will account for nearly half of the debt the U.S. will owe by 2019, according to a February analysis from the Center on Budget Policy and Priorities, a left-leaning think tank.
Bush isn’t the only Republican leader to draw Stockman’s ire in recent months, though. During the 2012 presidential election, Stockman called Republican candidate Mitt Romney “a master financial speculator who bought, sold, flipped, and stripped businesses.” He also attacked Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan’s budget, arguing that it was “devoid of credible math or hard policy choices.”

Must admit it is always better when it comes from their own!!

84,000 gallons of oil leaked nto the Central Arkansas town of Mayflower on Friday, spilling into neighborhoods. Treehugger reports, Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor was one of one the seventeen Democrats that joined all the Republican Senators in voting for symbolic approval of the Keystone XL pipeline. Pryor has claimed the pipeline will help create jobs in Arkansas, where some of the pipe is manufactured, however as Bloomberg reported recently, the project will only create 20 full time jobs, not the thousands that Pryor, TransCanada and other supporters like to talk about.

  • Jeff

    BTW,

Only story I find regarding Greg Kandra and this so-called liberal media bias he is tired of, is from the newsbusters website.

That’s all I got to say about that……

  • AppleStinx

    Thank God!

  • Stan T.

What I think is funny is that the lefties in here always claim that Fox News lies…yet, Fox News is available in Canada and MSNBC is not. Why doesn’t MSNBC Canada exist anymore? because Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission banned them because Canada forbids false or misleading programming…

Since Fox News is allowed to air in Canada…obviously they do not have false or misleading programming…

So much for the liberal lies…
